This looks like a great machine. Of course, that's what I thought last year when I bought an HP and now it turns out they had a defect that allowed hacking. The other HP laptop went through a BIOS "update" and deleted all my files. I'm hoping that this new one is less defective. So why did I buy HP? Because the other manufacturers are even less reliable. If you have the ability (and time)...build your own.

This laptop functions very good and exceeds our needs, excellent specs. The four star rating is mostly because the keyboard and mouse are so, so. This may be just a matter of getting use to it. I recommend you try it out in the store before buying this laptop. Note, this was our first HP computer. I would definitely recommend this computer to others and would make the same choice if doing it over again.

Am having a little difficulty getting used to this computer since it does some things that my old computer didn't do (like, delete information I have typed if i don't type carefully--must hold my hands like I did when I took piano lessons!! It wasn't set up quite right by the Best Buy Geek Squad, so I have had trouble trying to do some things on my own that I thought the Geek Squad would take care of.

Great laptop! Fast and great screen. The touch pad is a little difficult to use.

I bought my HP Envy m6-aq003 x360 convertible PC (S/N: 8CG6192TPM) in July 2016 from Bestbuy. Within one year I rarely used that as my university bought me a macbook pro about one month after I bought my HP laptop. In August 2017, I tried to use tablet mode and I did a 360 rotation which suddenly an screw jumped out of the rotating part. This was maybe fourth time that I used tablet mode. I took laptop to bestbuy but they said one year warranty is expired and I have to pay 300$to400$ to fix it. Same result when I contacted HP. About two weeks later another screw jumped from the other side of rotating part without me toching the screen. So I decided to open it myself. After I opened it, I noticed that screen hinge requires 4 screws on each side while factory have put only one screw on each side. This was the reason that one screw couldnot bear the load and got broken. Isn't this manufacturer responsibility to make sure that they put 4 screws on each side. By looking at attached images you can see that none of the other three wholes have ever been used. After contacting HP, they said they can do nothing because one year warranty is expired.

Bought on Black Friday and got a great deal. Using for my business. Works well.

Have no complaints about this laptop at all. Does everything I need and more.

This machine has been absolutely fantastic! The power supply "problem" that has been commented on several times in the reviews was nothing more than a misconfiguration that was easily addressed with an update from HP. Like any new computer, you must be patient and let it update before trying to use it. It probably took me a good 4 hours to get all the windows 10 updates installed.

This is another excellent product from the Hewlett Packard family of products. The design is very solid and attractive. I was most impressed in the very positive price to performance aspect. I am exceptionally pleased with the purchase.
