Great Computer, all files transferred from my old one. Works great

I have been using this hp envy laptop for nearly three weeks now. I am a software developer and this laptop, with the 16gb ram and quad core 8 thread processor exceeds my expectations. The hd screen resolution is crisp and clear and I am able to run several development applications at the same time with no issues whatsoever. The battery life is excellent giving me a good 6 plus hours of fairly robust use and the backlit keyboard is an added bonus. I am also really enjoying the use of the bamboo stylus with the windows ink capability as i can jot down quick "sticky notes" on things i discover as I work. Videos also stream and play smoothly when i am watching tutorials on youtube. I would recommend this machine for any use other than extreme hard core gaming.

This computer is so much faster than my previous lap top. It is a real joy to work with this speed--very little wasted time waiting for information to appear on the bright screen. My previous computer was about four years old.

The sales representative was very helpful and very knowledgeable.

Have not used it much yet. Think it will workfoir what I am needing.

First new laptop in 10 years and had no problems with it at all.

My favorite thing about this laptop is the way the keys light up, trying to use my old one at night was very difficult. Also love the touch screen, I dont use my mouse any more I can use my thumb to scroll down the screen.

Ordered this on Black Friday and absolutely loved the look and feel of it as I opened it up. Plugged it in and did the initial set-up and then went to attach my cable lock to secure it for the night and discovered there was no lock port. Securing the laptop is a key concern for us, so as nice as this was, it just wasn't going to work. So back to Best Buy to exchange for a Dell Inspiron 7000 (with a lock port). Great news is exchange couldn't have been any easier or nicer. Great that I had a physical store to go to. If security isn't a concern, then this should be a great lap-top. Just can't believe HP skimped on something so simple.

Love the laptop and so do my grandkids. Quick and easy to use.

I researched ALL of the top of the line 2-n-1 computers out there, but kept coming back to this one. It hasn't slowed down or had any hiccups at all. My only qualm would be making certain things easier to pull up when in tablet mode. It takes a little while sometimes but otherwise, it's perfect. I have 21 full length movies and I still haven't begun to dent all the space! Not to mention, the sound quality is spot on. I recently upgraded to a galaxy note 8 and on the right side is the input port for that so i don't have to plug it into one of the usb ports. Nobody else has that... not to mention, the look on EVERYONE'S face when you flip into tablet mode or tent it is priceless! The screen is huge! With Windows Ink too... unbeatable. I LOVE THIS COMPUTER
