When you cancel your subscription, you can no longer use the cartridges and will have to buy the store bought ones. Then you have to go through the hassle of shipping the cartridges back to hp. The printer itself is good and fast.

The paper roller had worn out from use on the old one. This new one was easy to install - much easier than the old one. I've only had this one for a few weeks, and it works fine. I've had no issues so far, and I don't expect any due to my experience with the old on. It holds plenty of paper, and it's fast. I'm happy so far.

Biggest problem was trying to figure out how to print anything. No simply instructions, I just had to work it out for myself. I have been able to print a few pages so far, but time will tell, I guess. Price main reason I did get it. If you have the time to get it to do what you want it will get there.

Easy to set up and unlike my inkjet printers, it has yet to mysteriously drop off the wifi. This is the first wifi printer I haven't had to resort to using a USB cable with. The 6-month trial of Instant Ink is a nice bonus, and I like being able to see how many pages I've printed and how I'm doing on toner. Haven't used mobile printing yet, but it works flawlessly on both Windows 10 and MacOS Monterey.

On one toner cartridge, you can print an estimated 950 pages. Toner cartridge is on par with an XL ink cartridge pack. The print is quiet and fast. I wish I would have gone with a LaserJet a long time ago. I was afraid they were too pricey. Not any more.
