I never leave reviews.
This time I had to.
I cannot believe how simple it was to get this printer up and running.
Wireless to boot.
All of 5 minutes if that
I've been using Canon for years. Nothing but stress when connecting it to my wifi and getting to function. See attached You Tube link
THE 4201dw IS A GREAT PRINTER.
Built solid. Weighs a few pounds- NICE.
The only downside, the rotator knob seems a little a flimsy but that's it...

If you're printing from a Mac computer I don't recommend HP printers. I have now tried multiple HP printers and the colors print dark and muddy. HP does not have printer drivers for Mac operating systems and after spending hours reading multiple online forums about this issue I have come to the conclusion that HP printers don't play well with Mac computers. The image quality is very nice and the printer is fast but no matter what I tried, and I tried everything from updating my computer operating system, downloading the HP app which is pointless since they don't have any printer drivers for Mac operating system, changing color management settings on my computer, the colors continued to print dark and muddy. I tried printing 40% magenta and no other colors and instead of a nice bright pink I got a dark muddied pink. I wanted to like this printer but as a graphic designer who needs colors to be accurate this is not the printer, or brand, for my needs.

I have another HP LaserJet since 2015 and still going strong and yet I needed a more current model for the demand of printing work with technoldgy softwares. I went with HP products again because I like their reliability.

At first worked excellent, printed super nice even con heavy cardstock, after some weeks of use it started to give me problems, wont take the paper, an even if the paper is for laser, the ink wont stay. DO NOT BUY. unfortunately it started giving problems after my return period was over, great!

Having issues with this expensive piece of junk. I purchased for kids school project and today all of a sudden it will not power on. Tried changing outlet and power cable, nothing. And online support was awful. They told me to call manufacturer. I will heading to the nearest best buy after work tomorrow. Save yourself from this hassle and unreliable printer.
