This printer was rated the best home laser printer. Wow is it ever. I'm so happy. Love the toner refills because the powder is dry and doesn't dry out if I don't print for awhile. It prints double-sided very well. It's 8 pounds. Easy to set up. And surprise! It has the Airprint software so it's compatible with apple ipads when I want to print from my iPad and also my android phone using the HPSmart app. Right now it's the best gadget I've purchased in 5 years. 5 stars

This is great for it's purpose - black and white printing. It has a toner cartridge, so you don't have ink drying up. I use this printer for all my black and white printing. So easy and economical, because the ink isn't always dried up when you go to use it, because the toner cartridge doesn't dry up.

Clearly, 95% of my printing is not photos. In the last ten years, I will not count the money I spent on photo printers and ink only to be unhappy when I tried to print a recipe or directions. The price on this laser printer is incredibly reasonable, and to some extent its portable, however, wireless set up is even easier. I have it on a small shelf above my computer, and when I ask it to print something, it does it happily. It is exactly what I needed.

In recent years, I decided to ditch the home printer and just print stuff at the office when I needed to... but then 2020 happened and the office isn’t in the equation anymore. This is the smallest wireless laser printer I could find, so it fits the bill. It works well, and I’m happy with the purchase.

this is an excellent purchase if you are looking for a small wifi enabled printer, that is just expected to print. i never had wifi issues or drops. my previous epson all in one laser was constantly disconnecting, but this never caused issues. it prints when you need and want it. dont expect extra features as this is only a printer that is working on wifi, and it does this the best... highly recommend...

I purchased another printer, scanner, and photocopier prior to purchasing the HP Laser Jet. I was so annoyed and frustrated with the purchase I literally threw the multifunctional thing to the curb. The HP Laser printer is just what I need. It is perfect for small printing jobs, it produces quality copies, and it's size is perfect for my desk. You can have your multifunctional printer....give me simple and quality every time!

Nice compact printer. Easy set up, works well and somewhat quuet

I'm giving this printer 5 stars not because it's a 5-star printer (there are many better printers available, which are much more expensive), but because it does what it's designed to do extremely well! I only print about 10 pages/month and don't need color. If you're in the same catagory and want a low cost, lightweight, small-footprint printer, the you should definitely consider this HP.

It's a reasonably priced laser printer. Nice and small. Good quality. Worth the price.

This printer is like the little engine that could! I love the speed in which it prints in. As soon as you hit the print button it starts! The fact that I don't have to buy 2 ink cartridges is a big PLUS!! Just pop in the cartridgeand boom you are in business. The only draw back is it does not print in color but I guess sometimes we have to give up one thing to gain another. It's small and compact excellent little machine!

I love this printer. Wireless printing from my Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Super easy setup and great output. Initial cartidge is a starter not a full 1000 pages as it says, more like 350 on first run. Got a message with low toner already about 350-400 pages. Sometimes the image will be crooked from the feed and not perfectly square but I take care in pushing the paper into the feed as well as I can.

I bought this printer even after reading all the bad reviews. Have had it about 2 weeks so far and have only printed a few pages but so far so good. Was easy to setup wirelessly on 3 laptops and works well printing from phone even without the app that says is required. I’ll update this review later if I encounter any issues.

I am a graphic designer at a print/copy shop. I know printers inside and out. I bought this for my son to print homework on. For black and white printing it’s the best. WiFi hooks up and works very easy. It’s about the size of a shoebox and heavily solid built. Laser toner cartridges last a long time compared to ink.

So far I love it, very quiet, small, prints quickly!

I got hooked on laser printing with my Dymo label printer and when it was time for me to get new ink for my current printer, I went to Best Buy and said that's it - no more ink! We are going laser. I found this great HP printer at a great price and I wasn't disappointed. Buying toner every 1000 +/- sheets is less expensive and the printing job if 1000 times better than regular printing....... You won't go wrong with this great printer and it's at the right price too.....

I bought this for some work I’m doing that involves travel. I chose this one for the following reasons 1. Price 2. Laser printer versus ink hogging ink jet printers. 4. Size...it’s light and compact 5. Monochrome as I don’t need color for what I’m doing. I’ve used it for three Josh’s now and it’s been superb.

Overall best compact printer that I've bought! Love that it is small and slick. Doesn't take up much room and is very durable. Prints are perfect and quick. No delays or issues of any sort! I use it often and being that it is a Laser Printer, it doesn't use too much ink and I like that the most! 10/10 would recommend!
