This printer seemed to meet my needs for an inexpensive laser printer that could be set up on a home network without much hassle. It set up quickly with the supplied software and works well. It also goes to sleep after a set interval so it does not waste power if someone forgets to shut it down. It is an excellent product.

I've been using the M401 printer in our office for quite some time, this is the next generation of that and is a really nice printer for the price. I have several in our office as personal printers for employees. The print quality is excellent and the speed is really nice, especially the time it takes for the first page to come out.

All HP laser printers have great quality, performance, and functions. I choose printers for their ergonomics on the desktop. I hate printers with open paper feed trays that stick out and collect dust. This one has multiple paper trays that tuck neatly and clean, making for an efficient desktop experience.

We use these all over our offices. They are reliable, economical and good quality.

Perfect printer. No drivers needed with Windows 7. I have it hardwired on my network. All computers easily found it and installed Windows drivers. Nice web interface. Powersave means I never turn it off. A little loud when printing, but by no means a deal-breaker. Prints FAST! I paid$140, so shop around.

This printer is so fast it is really wonderful. It warms up almost instantly and prints almost instantly. The cartridge also lasts for many prints. I don't know how I made due with inkjets my whole life before this.

It is a good printer. Installation on Windows 10 was easy. Unfortunately, I had trouble installing the drivers and printer software on one of my Windows 7 computers: the software was installed, I was able to print the test page, but printing from any other program resulted in an error....

40ppm with 6000 page yield. HP quality. The only reason I removed a star was because of HP's insistence to install a bloated suite of software. I just need a printer driver and maybe a supplies monitor. Come on HP! Get the act together and stop clogging my PC up with all your adware. Printer works fine!

Great printer, only issue I have is that it is LAN connected only with no WIFI support. Other than that its great, it prints fast and the cartridges last a ridiculously long time.
