Does not work with Windows 10

This is a great printer but it does not work with Windows 10. It works great with my MAC but after over 8 hours with HP support I have not been able to get it to work with Windows 10. Was told that HP is having a lot of issues with Windows 10. My boss and I both purchased this printer to use with our new Window 10 laptops and both experiencing the same problems. HP has told me that they are having issues with their software working with Windows 10. Since Windows 10 has been out for over a year it does not look like HP is trying to resolve the issue. If you are using Windows 10, I highly recommend purchasing another printer.

Difficult printer to set up using windows 10. Constantly disconnects from network. I have wasted 10 hrs on phone with tech support over several days

Hello BoogeyMan, thank you for taking the time to submit a review. I appreciate your feedback and I apologize for the unsatisfactory experience. HP products generally have a year warranty. I understand you have successfully connected your printer to a wireless network, but the connection drops. When the printer loses its connection, the printer goes offline and you cannot print from your Windows 10. I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue with our phone support. If you've been experiencing ongoing intermittent loss of network connectivity, then first update the printer firmware. Won't work with Windows 10

If you have Windows 10, don't buy this printer. Spent 2.5 hours trying to get it to install, called HP Support and the tech support guy admitted it their standard setup won't work with Win 10 and I need to install a separate scan program and some universal drivers. Did that and printer still is not recognized. HP must have taken a stop backwards again. Returning this printer and another HP printer I bought.

The print quality on this exceeded my expectations. The text is crisp and the color accuracy is almost as good as a mid-range inkjet. Great for flyers and high volume text. I don't read manuals, but I set up everything by plugging in power and setting everything else through printer menus. I'm running the printer wireless and was able to immediately print from my iPhone 6 running ios10. MacBook Pro running Sierra detected printer right away and I was good to go. Windows 10 didn't configure correctly automatically and I had to manually configure TCP/IP connection port. Probably would have worked if I used the CD or read the manual. I've had this for almost a month now and have absolutely no regrets.

I purchased this due to a great sale at Best buy related to the features that came standard on this unit. Unfortunately, it NEVER worked. The drivers wouldn't load on my Windows 10 machine. I tried nearly a dozen times, and ultimately had to get in to the registry and remove all HP drivers and try again. Eventually, it would load, but would freeze on printing, or print one page but no more. A call to HP cost me nearly 2 hours of my time, plus another hour if not more of them being remotely in control of my computer attempting everything under the sun to get it to work, and still nothing. I was told that it would be elevated to their higher tier tech support and they would call me. I was asked when I would be available the following day, and told them I could be home at a certain time, and they said great, they will call you then. I left work a little early, only to get home and wait for nothing. It would never connect to my wifi, which every other device had no problems connecting too, including the Brother printer I ended up buying instead of this unit. I can't give it one star cause I can't say that the features wouldn't be useful to those who can utilize it, but it simply didnt work for me.
