I was in need of a printer satisfied easy set up and good quality

My last HP printed lasted a little over a year. So far this printer is working great. It prints quickly and clearly and the print and scan are working too. I will have to use it more to give a better review. Time will tell. I have it connected to my computer so I can not vouch for WiFi functions. I will not need it for faxing so at this point I will give it a good rating.

I love my new printer! Wasn't sure if I wanted another HP printer, because I really hated my old HP printer. I am however really happy with this one and it's truly a wireless printer, which means I can sit on my couch and send something to be printed from either my laptop or my iPad or iPhone. Great buy!! Very happy!

My Canon printer I had at the house bit the dust on me during a school project for my son so I had to have one immediately. Went to Best Buy and they had this little model on sale and I just couldn't pass it up. What all it could do for the price. The HP software was easy to set up. You download the software on your phone, tablet or computer/laptop and hook it to your WiFi connection and you are off and running. You put the app on any product you want to use with this printer and it basically sets itself up. You operate the printer, scanner, other options on the device you are using with the app. You can make copies from the scanner into PDF files, photos, text files, and any other option you may need. You can add multiple pages to files and not worry about merging them yourself. They are all in one file. You can send files from your cell phone with a email address you set up and it will print, scan or fax once it is received. I will say there are lots of bells and whistles with this little gem

I'll admit that I have been doing a lot higher volume printer than most people would. I am required to print anywhere between 10-40 pages a day for school. My major complaint with this printer is that it jams constantly, often 2 to 3 times each time I print. This wastes pages (and I pay by the page to print) and is incredibly frustrating. I've attempted to print double sided to conserve paper but this increases the amount of jams. It still jams printing one sided so there really is no fix. It also goes through ink cartridges ridiculously fast, I spent over $100 in the course of a week on ink. I signed up for the instant ink, so I am probably saving money.. it's a good concept, however when the printer jams and prints only a third of the page, this wastes one of the valuable, limited pages that I am able to print. This printer had great reviews but it has not lived up to expectations.
