I’ve used this printer scanner hard for more than a year since I have been working from home. It syncs with laptop and iPhone easily. It has a document feeder which is nice if you copy multi page documents. You can print from your iPhone even if 100s of miles away from the printer.
When you scan, you can text or email easily. This has been a real dependable printer. The color us true. The price was very reasonable for all the things it will do.
Ink cartridges are expensive, but they are for all printers. They are usually in stock everywhere.

Purchased this to replace an old Lexmark printer. This printer was very easy to install. Took me about 15 minutes, probably because I took my time over each step. The HP program installed on my iPad easily as well (though I haven't tried to print from there.)
So far it has printed beautifully. As others have said, it is loud, but that doesn't bother us since printer is in an upstairs room. I've used it to print address labels, word documents, receipts from online purchases, etc. Everything went smoothly. The arm that holds the printed sheets does stick out, but so did my Lexmark. Not a big deal to push it back in. It doesn't hold much paper, but we only print a few sheets at a time. Have been using for 3 weeks, but so far I'm pleased.

I recommend this to any college student who wants a decent printer for school. I do blended courses so I have to print out a lot of my study notes and pages from my book online. The minute I press print on my computer from upstairs and walk downstairs to retrieve my documents they are already printed out and it could be multiple pages. I live in a townhouse so the walk is not far. The signal is great and I can print from anywhere by emailing my printer. For the price point I couldn't have asked for a better printer.

I dont print much, documents here and there and rarely a photo, just need something reliable for when I do need to print something. This printer fits the bill. The staff helped me pick out the right one for me.
I like the wireless connectivity, can print from my iPhone very easily if needed. Don't need to wire it to my laptop to print, either.
Printer works as expected, scanner/copier is nice to have in the all in one. Prints quickly and its nice that it can print on both sides of the paper, I actually printed my wife a birthday card this morning since we shouldn't be going out!

I did not have any idea about getting a right printer to home. Did lots of online Research and finally concluded with this. Checked it in-store at BBY. It was in a best deal with hp ink replenish option. With no doubt, placed the order.
It was very easy to install and setup the wireless in printer.
Best part is it has printer plugins for windows, android and iOS.
Installed the HP printer app too, which is convenient to check ink levels of cartridges in printer
To my surprise, hp provides cloud printing via email.
This printer fulfilled all my expectations and you can go for it just like me

This printer has worked well for us. The wireless is especially helpful as I can put it across the room from my desk and both my desktop and laptop, even my phone, can print. The print speed is good, and the scan quality is readable as well. My main issue is the cost of ink. I knew that inkjet is more expensive than my old laser, but this is a bit shocking. Having been printing a decent amount of text only documents, I have had to buy three double packs of ink (black and multi-color) within the 4 months I have owned it. Just keep that in mind before jumping in. It can get pricey.

The Office Jet 5255 is a great printer/scanner/copier. I don’t use the fax feature so I can’t comment on it. It was easy to set up and is easy to use. I don’t print a lot but when I do, it works well. The scanner is easy to use as well. The only issue I have is the location of the paper tray. It is in the front on the bottom. The way it opens requires you to have the printer at the edge of a table. Mine is on a pull out shelf inside a cabinate in my desk. I have to pull it forward to the edge of the shelf to add paper. Other than that, I am very happy with this printer.

I had read about people having problems setting this printer up. It was easy one I found all the software needed. Included documentation is limited but going to their website made setup easy. Likes: great scanner, fax should work (need to try it). I scanned a full color document and then printed it on plain paper... great image, color and it didn't jam the printer. Also, ePrint gave the ability to send any email to a specific HP email address and then it forwards to my printer and prints the email and all attachments (there are limitations but not a problem for me).

Works well with the app (HP Smart) and prints good color photos off of your phone or the web. Also scans well. A great All-in-one if you need something small and under $80.

I love this printer - bought it in May 2020 to replace an older printer. This HP 5255 printer was super easy to set up and share with my phone, iPad and computer wirelessly. I am 69 so not super techie so was thrilled at how easy it is to use. Great print quality, will print 2-sided copies and even 8 1/2 x 14 copies. I highly recommend this printer. Another plus, the ink cartridges are not very expensive and the printer weighs about 1/2 as much as my previous printer which had less features.

Had to replace an Epson I had for 2 yrs. I hope this HP lasts a lot longer. It is a little louder than the Epson, but prints much faster. I can live with that. As a techno-phoebe, it was very easy to set up and install. So far, so good. Very happy with the ease of that. I'm not sure if I completed the 'instant ink' subscription, because that was the only problem I had. Guess I'll find out. I do like the features of this HP All-in-One printer. The sale price was perfect for me, and it is easy for me to use.
