Our old HP printer recently died on us after 10 years of use. We picked this printer up on sale for around $50. It is perfect for home use and cant beat the price.

Overall works fine no complaints. You have to look at the product relative to the price, its not going to be an industrial printer. Its going to be a good printer and thats pretty much it.

This is the first printer, copier, and scanner I've purchased that actually works correctly. It's easy to use and definitely worth what I paid for it.

Works well, good scan quality. Instant ink is useful for infrequent printing, and you can buy your own cartridges for larger jobs where you'd go over 15 pages

I purchased this printer because it came with a fax. I was very pleased with the printer, but approximately 3 months after purchasing the printer the fax just stopped feeding the paper thru the printer. After contracting HP and going thru their over the phone test they agreed to send me a newly reconditioned printer. Thus far the printer and fax are working well. Hope this review doesn’t jinks me. Maybe my first printer was just a lemon. Hopefully I will get more than 2 years use out of it.

The ink doesn't dry completely and tends to smear with highlighted or the paper is placed against another surface but other than that it's a great printer!

Replaced another HP printer with this 5255. Does a very good job printing.. don’t really like the fold out paper support for the copied paper to come out on.

HP-OfficeJet 5255 All in One. Needed a Printer

Well, this was on Sale at Best Buy and I had some Reward Certificates to use towards my Purchase so I figured I would go ahead and get this HP All in One. It has a feeder and it does 2 sided Printing and Scanning and Copying and even Faxing if you still do that. It has the Self Healing for the WiFi so you don’t have to worry about getting disconnected. Basically it was a step up and an upgrade from the HP Printer I already have now. Plus I went ahead and purchased some Ink with it just Incase. The only thing is the Printer is still in the Box because I have not been able to set it up yet.
