It works well the only thing i found is where the paper comes out you need to pull out a arm on the other models the arm comes out by it self.

I like the product , it’s easy to use once you download the program to your computer and it’s very easy to use And print things from phone

I've had a variety of different brands of printers from Epson, Brother and HP and HP almost always seems to perform the best. Prior to getting this one, my primary printer was an Epson WF-7520 All-in-One unit. The problems that I have with that printer are resolved with the HP 5255. The mobile printing is easy to use with the HP Smart app and worked very well, even remotely when using the email address that is assigned to the printer. I wish I could create an easier email address than the one supplied, but that isn't really a big deal. AirPrint worked perfectly also with this printer. My iPhone and iPad found the printer easily and it printed shortly after I sent it to the printer. I primarily use a MacBook when I'm working and the only issue I've been able to find is being able to select printing in black and white versus color. I've not been able to find an easy way to just print in black and white, but that could be my fault and not the fault of the software or printer itself. The printer doesn't print particularly fast, but it is an inkjet and not a laser, so i didn't expect it to be amazingly fast. The HP Utility software made managing scanning projects simple. I particularly like the scan to computer feature which a constant problem I had with my Epson printer. This printer also has a small footprint, which I really like. Between the printer, dual monitors, speakers and scanner that I have on my desk, having a small printer that is an all-in-one unit is great. This printer also came with three months free of HP's Instant Ink, which i signed up for. The printer will automatically order more ink when the supply gets low. You have three different options for the Instant Ink program dependent upon your average monthly usage. No longer is it necessary to go out to the store to buy replacement ink which is great because I normally don't know that I need to replace it until I really need to print something out. Im curious how well this program will work and how long it will take to receive my ink when its running low. If it works as advertised, it's a good addition to a great printer. I would definitely recommend this printer for students, home office or a small business.

Printing is satisfactory for the most part; however, the ink cartridges do not last very longer before drying up. Not a fan of using Wi-Fi as connection, the automatic updates usually lead the printer not being responsive and requiring a restart. It makes no sense not allowing the same capabilities with a much more reliable ethernet connection than with Wi-Fi.

The HP Office jet 5255 has performed well and it is nice to be able print wireless from cell phone and also print double sided.

One it was set up easy to use . the screen is a little small took a little while to figure it out. Like the automatic ink ordering system.

I needed an easy to operate printer and this is it. Not too big and makes excellent copies and prints.

Pros: -Wireless printing from your smart phone, tablet, and Chromebook via Google cloud printing. -Ability to print from literally anywhere around the world provided you have an Internet connection -Ability to fax Cons: -"Cheapy" looking from both inside and outside -Set-up not as intuitive as my previous Canon printer -Printed instructions could have been a bit better Side note: HP's ink replacement program is optional but recommended if you print about 200 to 300 pages a month.

The printer is perfect for causal printing. Easy to set up and Bluetooth to computer, laptop, or phone.

We really like our new printer. We can also now print directly from our phones which is a great feature.

Easy setup, works great! Love being able to print from my cell using wifi. Got this at start of pandemic for kids.

It does it all. Print, scan, copy and fax. Too many printers today don’t fax anymore. This one does. Great for the price.

It is new so I don't have much to complain about at this time. I do not know if it goes through ink quickly, but it prints fast and quietly.
