A printer made for the smallest of work settings

If you have more that one user [network] buy something else. The document feeder ceases working after a couple of weeks ownership. As for cost, the ink is very expensive. And don't even think about using non-HP ink to try to save money. HP is one or two steps ahead of you there. See following notation: NOTICE OF PROPOSED CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT In re HP Printer Firmware Update Litigation, No. 5:16-cv-05820-EJD (N.D. Cal.) UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE NORTHERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA The gist of this class action lawsuit is the fact that HP has re-programmed the firmware in their printer line so that when the printer senses non-HP ink cartridges have been installed the printer stops working. FOREVER. There are competing printer companies with product out there. Hard to speak to what they have done to combat the folks who want to compete in the ink cartridge supply arena. But, HP has definitely met them head-on. My advice, find another way to handle your printing needs besides Hewlett-Packard.
