    There was a malfunction with the printer whereby the there are streaks absent of ink in several pages across the screen under default 600dpi settings. Changing to 1200dpi printing addresses the issue. This was present on home ink cartridges and the InstantInk cartridges. HP is not easy to work with. Be aware of the InstantInk subscription - you cannot print using the provided cartridges without networking your printer and sending info to HP. The cartridge size is based on a number of pages per month. I regret not buying a home use/non-InstantInk cartridge right off the bat, but was unaware of the difference and didn't fully read the documentation regarding the subscriptions.

    Prints nicely when it decides to print. Lots of noise and needs to be turned on & off to get it to work. Disappointed. Also cannot figure out how to get it to scan.
