It is a good printer so far. The only down side to it was that a USB cable does not come included

Not a bad machine for under $100. The Ethernet cable/port are not reliable so pray your WiFi doesn't fail if you can't link to your laptop. Other than that, it's an inexpensive copier that makes decent copies and prints.

The functions like scanning are not the greatest but it does print nicely. Did not come with the cable to connect to my laptop like I was told it did. @@@@@@@@ was skeptical that it actually did).

Easy to set up with exception of fax. Have to use the phone cord included with purchase which is too short limiting your option as to placement of the printer. Works well on my home wi-fi.

This printer is great although the overall size is quite big. it prints great quality, quiet and fast. it has issues connecting to my wifi router for wireless printing so i'm stuck now with the cable.

I tried many times, got the app on my cell phone, used the cd by loading it but still can't figure it out. I'm using the cable method but the cable did not come with the printer. I'm glad I had one from some other source.

This printer does what it needs todo but I can't say the wireless feature is good. It loses the signal often and I have to reboot. I just got a cable to solve that and haven't worked out the problem.

I was unable to get this printer to work properly. Always showed printer offline. When it did, it took a long time before it started printing. An AT&T tech working on my cable found the printer had a bad nic card and was throwing errors on my network. Also couldn't find any HP phone support #. Returned it for an Epson of equal value, no problems, works great, faster, took half the time to set up the Epson than the HP.

Print quality is very good, constant tech probs

Print quality is very good for a home printer. However, it is aggravating that the printer uses 902 cartridges, which are harder to find at some stores. Why does this company keep designing new printer cartridges? Also, there are constant communication problems with the printer. So bad that I had to get a cable to connect it to the desktop, and not use the wireless system. So now we can only print from one PC. Does not effectively work with other programs, and frequent errors in communication and finding the printer. Pick another model.

      Hi,

I am sorry that you've had a hard time finding the cartridges in local stores. It might be easier to order them online.

This was a black Friday special and my old HP was past 20 years old. Hoped they would have learned something in 20 years, but not much. The set up was easy, using wireless, not so trying to use USB. Color correction is hard, if not impossible, Control panel is confusing. HP said use only its cable for FAX, but did not include any fax cable. A 4 conductor phone cable works fine. Seems to use a lot of ink, and the 902 cartridges it uses are not very common. It defaults to 2 sided printing which cost me a bunch of Postage, trying to print Post Office Labels on line. Sometimes it will not shut down and I have to unplug it . Not easy to load paper. It works most of the time.
