The "virtual assistant" can't answer anything. Google works better. But why should you have to google every little problem. It should just work. For example, you can't scan by hitting the scan button on the computer, you have to open the app on your computer and hit scan, then it takes about 5 minutes per page. Ridiculous. And you can't choose ledger paper. After an hour on google I learned that the printer calls ledger tabloid. seriously? In 2020 HP can't build a printer that just works and is user friendly? Horrible printer!

I am so annoyed that I spent so much money on this pile of junk. I doubt't I can return this printer now so now I am going to have to eat the lost funds and get it replaced.

I had this printer for 5 weeks and the printheads aren't working. Best Buy only has 15 day warranty, now I'm trying to get a hold of HP which is next to impossible. I spent more money on what I believed to be a ggod product.

More than 80% of the time, it will not print on the first attempt. That was the case when I first got it. That is the case now, several years later. The reasons vary, but it does not perform its advertised functions with ease. It has been a continual headache. We have used over two dozen printers, and this one is decidedly the worst.

Had to go directly To HP and once I talked to Tec Support it’s been a nightmare getting any information on a replacement .

I took it back and bought a Brother MFC-J6545-DW online which has worked flawlessly scanning and printing. It also has much larger ink cartridges that last longer. HP Help was no help and after reading the horror stories of most online posts I got rid of it and had to purchase a low cost Canon letter size printer/scanner from Target to temporarily work around for my job while I waited a week for the new Brother unit to be delivered. And the Cannon ALSO worked flawlessly. So, it appears HP is the issue. My HP docking station after two weeks also went bad at the same time so i had to do all my work on a laptop screen until the replacement under warranty showed up. Well, at least they have a well-oiled diversity department judging from their corporate web site. Must hire plenty of engineers based on diversity and not competence based on my experience with their products.

I had to return it to the store. If it had worked, I think it would have been pretty good.
