Won't print photo paper or envelopes -
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Will not print photo paper, matte or glossy, Won't print envelops. Must have issue with rollers. Get's stuck on copying cycle or cancel copying cycle and needs to be unplugged to stop. Makes a bizarre cranking sound when scanning right from printer. Called HP 7 times have 5 case numbers and they want to send me a refurbished printer in place of the new one i bought AND take my credit card and will charge me for it if I don't get this 50 lb printer back to UPS store in time. Was told I would get a call back 5 times from "advanced team." No such call came. Hours of on hold to find out I have to lug it back to UPS. I had it delivered for a reason. It's heavy! Too bad too. The prints when it does print are very nice. Got to go back to EPSON. This is junk to me.

JUNK, JUNK JUNK!!!

I am continually reinstalling it because the Scan to Computer keeps failing and can't get it to scan. If I do any updates, the drivers seem to crash. JUNK!! Stay away!! Back to Brother I go!

Why it's on sale now.........

No manual paper feed, can't autofeed 11x17 for scanning, no manual feed for envelopes so you have to remove whatever paper you have in a tray, adjust it for envelopes, and do it all over again. 6 months later, I'm in hour 4 on the phone with tech support. Can no longer scan 11×17 and am now learning that the ones I had pronted before were NOT to scale even though the .pdfs were to scale. Even though you setup what size paper is in which tray, it does not remember and you have to switch theough 3 acreens to adjust that. I'm currently in search of a hot poker to stick in my eye. Now I remember WHY I stopped buying anything Hp a LONG time ago.
