Good value printer. It is the top of the line inkjet. I got the printer on sale with a small discount for turning in an older printer. This led to a good deal. The printer seems nice. The only area for improvement that I have run into at this point is the small screen size and the less that user friendly set up for scanning to email and computer. The Wi-Fi set up was reasonably quick. I am hoping that this printer works as well as my last HP inkjet that has lasted me a decade and is actually still working ok.

I will jump in and tell the only thing that is a challenge with this printer, The setup and installation is not the easiest of HP printers, but once the installation is done.this is by far the best printer available for any home or small business. Admittedly it may price some folks out of home use but for me personally I am excited to have such a great product. The printing and scan features are perfect.

Overall the printer is easy to install and works fine... most of the time. Often, the printer does not wake-up when a print is requested. You have to wake it up manually, sometimes print from another software to have your initially requested print function. Furthermore, what is with their control software? The fonts are so tiny on ANY of my screens that I have to use a magnifier to read them and use the software.

This printer has surpassed my expectations. It was actually very easy to set up and took less than 10 minutes. The print quality is very good and it is pretty fast in copying, printing, and scanning. The HP smart print app adds a great deal of functionality including the ability to print from your iPad or iPhone (or other smart device if you are not an Apple person. @@@@@@@ It connected automatically to our wireless network I have not had any issues using yet over the past few days.

This is a very effective powerful printer with lots of heavy duty features, including automatically doing a number of routine things. The set up ischallenging, but after about 3 hours it was accomplished. The ink deal that HP offers is not a particularly good idea, because whenever you decide to quit using your printer after paying HP for all that ink ... 0all of a sudden all of the remaining ink in your printer is locked and unavailable. Obvious attempt to make sure that you buy ink only from HP. The XL cartridges cost around $90 for the Tri color and another $90 for two black XL cartridges. Whew!

I definitely wasn't expecting to be wowed by a printer. That is, until I got this one. Once I managed to get everything set up it was a breeze to work with. Great features, expected quality printing as expected from HP...and can handle any heavy use printing you throw it's way. Definitely a great workhorse for your office space needs. It's big though so if you're in the available space you have for a printer then this may be a problem for you (but it's worth it to get creative with your setup! @@@@@@@ .

Bought the HP Office Jet Pro 9025 to replace the HP PSC 950 we had for 17 years. We've had it now for about a month. Will this new HP printer last as long? We'll just have to wait and see. It was easy to set up and establish WiFi connectivity and has functioned perfectly so far. We did look at a few "How To" videos on the Internet about setting up the printer, which were helpful. Recommend doing that before beginning the set up process. We love this new HP printer!

    Another Reliable HP Printer

I've had HP printers for what feels like forever. It was time for an upgrade and the 9025 was the perfect replacement printer. This one feels more like a workhorse than my last. Easy setup, multiple paper trays, mobile printing, faster scanning, and sharing to the cloud make this a great home office printer. I'm still getting used to that last one, where I can connect my printer directly to my Google Drive. You do have to put your trust in the system to protect access to your drive. At least with HP, I do, so far. Still putting printer through its paces but so far looks like a great decision.

First off, this is one super fast printer. It even printed a series of nice photos in a matter of seconds. Setup was easy. Using the HP Smart App, I was printing from my phone right away. Printing saved Word and Excel documents have never been easier. In the past I always had to email them to myself and then print from home. This saved a few steps and a lot of time. Home setup was easy too but it only shows this printer right now as a web services printer. It works fine but not sure why it's not listed with my other wireless printer. I'll have to spend some time later to see what I did wrong. Or maybe that's just how it's supposed to be. Scan to email is awesome and something I've wanted at home for a long time. Work's perfectly. You can just run a document(s) through the printer and it will automatically email to any or all of the contacts you select. I use this feature at work to communicate with the corporate office and it works flawlessly on this printer - Awesome!! Double sided scanning at the same time - wow. I don't have a whole lot of use for that but I'm sure it will come in handy at some point. This is one feature packed printer that will get a ton of use as I get my home office up to speed. I think the HP instant ink is a great idea and will most likely sign up for it at some point down the line as I always seem to run out of ink after business hours

Five Star Plus - Great Printer

I have used and owned many printers, this one is the best. It is made rock solid, and the design is intuitive and simple to connect the printer and install the print cartridges. Using the HP Smart app it was easy to connect the printer over WiFi and you can easily print from your phone or from a computer. You have an option to send a link from your phone so that each computer can just get and follow that link to install the software - very nice. The HP Smart app on your phone can also help you set up SMART TASKS. These are like little macros that can speed up operations by combining some commands into a couple clicks on your phone for example. I can create a SMART TASK to print a pdf single-sided in color and ship it to the printer - worked great, like magic. You can create and save many and varied SMART TASKS and sync them to the printer too - you'll love these time saving little functions. Another ability of this printer is to copy or scan a document double-sided in one pass. I took a letter that had been folded twice so it had creases. I unfolded it and put it in the feeder and entered 'copy, color, double sided'. This printer pulled the document in, scanned once and the document came part way out and it told me to wait a bit for the ink to dry, sucked the document back in and printed the other side having scanned both sides on the first pass - perfect color on both sides and no problem with the folds on the paper. Also it has two paper trays so you can put photo paper in one or even different color paper in one - very useful feature to have two trays. It is full function with print, scan, copy and fax. The touch screen is excellent and can be tilted to get the right angle on your view. The icons and layout are very user-friendly. Another nice touch is that someone designed it so that there are hand-holds on the bottom so it is easy to move the printer or pick it up. The black/white or color printouts were excellent. The engineers at HP get a tip of the cap for this one. I highly recommend this printer.

Big Business Power in Small Business Form

This is the printer that I have been wanting! I have a fairly heavy print load for my regular job, add into that the workload from my home based business I started last year and I have very printer heavy needs. This printer handles the load of anything I could ever want to do at an amazing pace and has features to spare. First off, I was given a pre-release model to review, and since the app wasn't available for public use yet, I had to go to an HP specific link to download their new Smart App. This was the only task that wasn't as simple as clicking "Next". Set up was a breeze, and like other HP Printers, this printer can be enrolled in Instant Ink, which automatically sends you new ink when the printer detects you are running low (<---- AMAZING FEATURE). After setting up the printer, I loaded the printer with paper and was incredibly happy that this printer has a tray setting for envelopes, which was a gripe I had with another printer I tried. I love this feature as I typically print my envelopes for mailing my invoices What I love even more is that I can load one tray with envelopes, and the second tray with legal sheets for standard printing. After loading the printer with paper, I began playing with the smart app and interactive screen on the printer and found out that I can print anything from my Google Drive by simply selecting it from the screen! No computer required. This is amazing. I used this feature to print out tax documents, invoices, and a bunch of things that I didn't need, but I was so impressed with the ease of access and speed that the printer spit out paper at that I just kept selecting things to print. You can also use this printer to scan items to your folders or directly to your email as well! This is awesome as I have become accustom to this at my full time job and have found it as an amazing feature. Luckily, I don't need a machine that is the size of a smart car to do this, as the one at my primary employer's office is massive, but the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 is about the size of small luggage. The quality of the prints are also very good, which really impresses me, especially considering the speed that they spit out. I am currently out of picture paper, but I did print a full page color photo on regular letter paper and was EXTREMELY impressed by the speed and quality of the photo even on regular paper. I love this printer. It has all of the modern conveniences and capabilities that any large business could benefit from, its small enough that any small business could fit the machine in a home office with ease, and cheap enough that a student could afford it. I have not had any issues or deficiencies with this printer and I hope that it lasts me a long time as I think that HP has thought of almost everything and it is making my life so much easier. Great Work HP!!!

I gave up on an Epson Tank printer about a month ago, and went back to my favorites - HP Printers. I had an HP 8600 InkJet that I had had for some time, and it was wonderful in every way. Thinking I needed a new HP Printer, I went to Best Buy, and purchased the HP InkJet 9025, and did the Ink Support process, and they have been very good. The only problem I have is that it doesn't seem to realize always how it's installed. Could be my fault, of course, but it either runs fine, or has a code in front of the description of the printer, and it works or it doesn't work? I'm planning to work with HP tomorrow to figure out the problem. But - thankfully, the Install was easy -- it's just this issue that "sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't". Need to resolve that one! I'm going to answer No to the "would you recommend to a friend" -- hoping that I will have appropriate resolution by HP that will make me want to change my response to "Yes" I would recommend!! I love HP products, and am not happy that I feel the need to make the recommendation below. Hoping for the best with the Support Team at HP!

The HP Officejet Pro 9025 has it all, and it's truly an amazing printer. Setting up the printer was very painless and easy. The large printed instructions made it very simple, you plug in the printer, power it on, then load the ink. From there, you complete the set up with the HP Smart app. The app is designed very well, and has some amazing features that are very useful. Such as; scanning to your phone, scan to email and cloud. It also has a new feature called smart tasks, these are simple one button shortcuts that lets you get tasks done with one push of a button. Aside from all the great features, the app runs flawlessly as well. So far, I haven't experienced any lag or errors at all. The Printer can also be operated from the built-in colored touchscreen as well. So, for those that don't know how or don't want to set up the app, you can do everything on the device that can be done from the app. The printer has 2 paper trays, one for plain paper, and the second for things such as envelopes and picture paper. I did a test run with an envelope address from Word, I was amazed how the printer automatically picked the correct tray that needed to be used. A nice new feature that I haven't seen before, is the way it aligns the printer heads. The printer prints out a graph, then you place it into the scanner, in which the printer scans the reading and aligns it. You can save the paper for future alignments if your prints ever seem to be off. This speeds up the alignment process quite a bit. Last but certainly not least, is the print quality...The print quality in this printer is amazing! The results are crystal clear, with very bright and vibrant colors. Pictures come out very detailed and clear as well. Overall, I am very impress with HP for the OfficeJet Pro 9025. They hit a homerun with both the printer and the app with this one. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new printer.

This printer is a beast. My wife and I both have our own businesses. We aren't printing 100 pages a day or anything but we do get some use out of it. This OfficeJet replaced a pretty old DeskJet and I really like the upgrade. Could we have survived on the DeskJet for a while longer? Sure. Is it nice to have a fancy new toy? Definitely. Setup was a breeze but it does require a smart phone. This usually isn't an issue, especially in a business setting but know it's a requirement. After signing in to your HP account (I think this is a requirement as well, but they may let you skip it. I don't remember) it allows you to email the configuration to other devices to set them up as well. It also warns you that if you don't install software on these other devices, you won't be able to print on them. But I was able to just detect the printer on my wifi and print without any real setup required. Maybe the software that was automatically installed by MacOS and Windows when I setup my deskjet was good enough to also use the OfficeJet. But the setup was pretty painless all in all. Speed is pretty good. It'sn't blazing fast or anything. This isn't a laser printer or anything like that but for an inkjet, I think it prints plenty fast. Black only documents take no time at all. Color adds a little bit of extra time but it's really not bad. I'm not sure how long this ink will last me yet. There's a new service where they send you ink when your printer is running low and they just charge you a monthly fee based on how many pages you print per month. Considering how much ink costs, we are very tempted to just go this route because the cheapest plan is $5/mo and some bar napkin math says it's probably cheaper annually than we would spend on new ink whenever we run dry. The photocopier/scanner is pretty good. Really fast. The multiple paper trays are also nice for storing extra paper or, I think you can put a different size paper in each tray and pick which one you want when you print (don't quote me on this as I haven't tried it yet). All said, this is more printer than we really need but the extra bells and whistles are really nice and I know there are more software things that I haven't even discovered yet. I could see this being a much better investment in anyone who runs their own home/small business and just wants an upgrade in the printer department because they actually print a lot of things. So if you have the budget for this printer, I can definitely recommend it.

This HP printer is excellent. It was very easy to set up with the app and I really couldn't be happier. The app is really great and I was pretty surprised that it actually worked as well as it does. If you are on your home network it works so fast. I was able to AirPrint from my iPhone as soon as I connected the printer to my network. Remote printing works great too with the HP app. After setting it up with the app all I had to do was switch it as my default printer on all my computers. Such a smooth experience. Operating the printer with the on board touch screen is easy too. It seems pretty responsive and the UI is easy to understand. Scanning, printing etc. all work really well. I also signed up for the instant ink so we will see how that works out. Overall I'm an very pleased with this printer. Definitely worth it if you are in need of a printer.
