Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the OfficeJet Pro 9025's print quality, ease of use, and performance. Many appreciate the dual paper trays and the straightforward setup process. However, some users find the printer to be somewhat loud and on the larger side. The wireless functionality and scanning capabilities also receive positive feedback.

I am really enjoying this printer. During set up there was a problem with the printing head (needed to be removed and then put back in) and I tried to get help through hp support but they were not helpful. They tried but they didn't troubleshoot the problem - they were just repeating the written instructions. I eventually figured it out myself and it was a simple problem. From there it was easy and now it is working really well.

Not Happy with this HP printer

I have had HP Inkjet printers for many years. Don't like this one! Scan problems, extra steps. Also, to copy you have to take an extra step to print black or it automatically prints color from just making a copy at the printer. Wish it was like all the old ones. I do like the 2nd tray to have Legal paper ready if needed.

I pretty much use all HP printers at work, so when I need a replacement this is the go to printer.

Printer is great- Set up process was cumbersome

Let me preface this with the fact that I previously had the HP 8610 which I loved and was easy to set up. The longevity ran it's course, and I replaced it with this one because the 8610s weren't available in the store. I like the printer, and so far so good with it. However, I will have to say the set up was a bit cumbersome because the scanning function wouldn't work no matter what. After literally 4 1/2 hours on the phone with the HP help desk across the world, and them telling me there were issues with the software, they got it fixed. It should not take this long to fix scanning software. Customers should not have to spend this amount of time on the phone to get their product to work. The good news is the scanning then worked. The other news was the rest of my computer then had issues and I had to take it to the Geek Squad to get it fixed because HP couldn't figure out what was changed. Once this exercise was done, things seem to work. Once in awhile the scanning process still has issues, but restarting my computer usually fixes it. I rated this 4 stars because I like the printer--- but not a 5 because of the way too lengthy set up time and scanning set up issues. I now vaguely remember the sales person saying something like, "Once you get this printer set up-- it's great." Now I fully know what he meant.

The printer HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 (All-in-One) replaces an older version HP 8600 (All-in-One ) inkjet printer that gave many years of excellent service, printing, scanning and copy making. We have only had the new printer in service for three week and so far this machine is as good or better than the one it replaces. The printing operation is fast and very clean and clear; this printer has two drawers, one for paper & one for envelopes. It prints envelopes very fast and works well with MS Office Word. I would also like to commend the BustBuy Technician that installed this printer on two computers and set up the WiFi system. No complaints so far.

    Upgrade from the 9010.

So far, things are great. We upgraded from the HP9010 to this one, HP9025e. I love the extra drawer for manual printing options and the USB port located in the front. It’s way more accessible than the last one. It prints nicely. However, it’s a little bit slower printing than the other. But I do feel like the quality is better. One more con is how the printing cartridges fit. They don’t ‘lock’ into place like the 9010. With this one, it feels as if you aren’t pushing it in far enough, for it to click into place.

HP - OfficeJet Pro 9025 Wireless All-In-One Instant Ink Ready Inkjet Printer is a good printer for the home office. Easy to set up has all the features you would need for a decent price. The reason this does not get 5 stars is that look of it is square and it is made of thin plastic. So if you are a person that takes care of things and is not hard on your office equipment this product is for you

The unit itself is high quality. I found it easy to manually make copies and fax. It seemed easy to set up but printing from WiFi didn't seem reliable--I kept getting complaints from a family member trying to use it--so I opted to connect with USB. It now works but operation not as easy as other HP printers I've used.

GREAT PRINTER - MINUS THE INSTANT INK REQUIREMENT

THIS PRINTER IS GREAT FOR OUR OFFICE. THE SCAN FUNCTION WORKS PERFECTLY. THE TWO COMPLAINT I HAVE ARE 1. THAT YOU HAVE TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON THE PHONE W/AN HP SPECIALIST TO SET UP THE SCAN TO EMAIL FUNCTION. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO SET UP YOURSELF, THERE ARE MULTIPLE DDRIVERS THAT HAVE TO BE INSTALLED AND ALOT OF TECH SAVY STEPS THAT THE AVERAGE PERSON PROBABLY WOUDL NOT KNOW HOW TO DO. I CONSIDER MYSELF TECH SAVY, AND IT WAS A CHALLENGE FOR ME. 2- THE PRINTER COMES WITH HP INSTANT INK. FOR A BUSINESS, THE HP INSTANT INK SERVICE JUST DOES NOT WORK. WE CANNOT HAVE A LIMIT TO THE # OF PAGES WE CAN PRINT. IF YOU GO OVER YOUR FREE TRIAL AMOUNT, YOU'RE THEN CHARGED PER SET OF ADDITIONAL PAGES PRINTED. AND IF YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL THE INSTANT INK, YOUR CARTRIDGES THAT CAME WITH THE PRINTER WILL IMMEDIATELY STOP WORKING.. FORCING YOU TO GO BUY XL OR REGULAR CARTRIDGES FOR THE PRINTER. IN THAT SENSE IT CAN BE COST INEFFICIENT. FOR BUSINESS, HP SHOULD OFFER A SUITE OF PLANS SPECIFICALLY TAPERED TO BUSINESS NEEDS. AN INSTANT INK UNLIMITED PACKAGE WOULD BE IDEAL FOR BUSINESSES WITH MAYBE IF THEY EXCEED X AMOUNT OF CARTRIDGE REFILLS, THEY THEN ARE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL RATE FOR EACH ADDITIONAL CARTIRDGE REPLACEMENT.
