Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the OfficeJet Pro 9025's print quality, ease of use, and performance. Many appreciate the dual paper trays and the straightforward setup process. However, some users find the printer to be somewhat loud and on the larger side. The wireless functionality and scanning capabilities also receive positive feedback.

I’ve only used my new printer a few days. I had to print over 600 pages of print. The print job was done quickly and efficiently. I am very pleased so far.

This printer is quiet and fast. This was an upgrade from an older model along the same line. It seems to work as expected and it is quiet which is a plus.

The Officejet 9025 was a real disappointment. The previous HP I had (8740) was twice as heavy and sturdily constructed, but failed after only 2 years, 3 months. The same thing happened several years ago with a different HP all-in-one. But, at that time, they sent me a refurbished printer because of the original's short life. This time they refused, saying their policy changed, so they told me to buy a new printer, even though they make all their money by selling overpriced ink! I promptly returned it to Best Buy, who had nothing comparable in stock. After much research, and the inability to find the printer I wanted because of the coronavirus, I decided to take a chance and buy the HP 9025. Big mistake! The 9025 printed my 4x6 and 8x10 photos acceptably but, despite trying 7 times, it could not print a 5x7: Then I realized it was because my 5x7 photo paper was a little thicker than the other sizes--it only printed part of the photo, or none at all, but with streaks of ink. After over a week of looking for an alternative (The manufacturers ran out of stock because of people working from home because of the coronavirus), I found that Office Depot had the top-of-the-line Brother MFC-J6945 all-in-one. I purchased the Brother and received it in 2 days! For about the same price as the HP, it has many, many more features, including the capability of printing up to 11x 17 paper, including great photos! The HP 9025 was advertised as printing up to 8.5x 14. But if you needed to copy from the glass, the length of the glass was less than 13 inches! I forgot to mention that the HP 8740 many times was not recognized by my computer, so I spent hours on the phone with HP to resolve the problem. Very sad for a once-great company.

    1. The display is less than acceptable. Too small and the touch screen leaves something to be desired. Requires too many touches and then pulls up a screen when you're just trying to scroll. Too many options for such a small screen. 2. The output tray is cheap looking and just doesn't have the room of my previous 8600 Premium. Which outperformed this model by all measurements. 3. The dual colors make me think that HP just couldn't decide on a color and gave it two colors. I much prefer black all over. That choice is not available. 4. The look of the printer. it's just a box sitting on my desk. Nondescript and totally lacking in style. My worst looking HP printer since the dot matrix days. 5. The only reason I gave it a three is because I do expect it to perform its printing chores without difficulty. Since it's new, I have to put my hope that it will last and perform as my other HP printers have for decades. I almost bought another brand but needed a printer now. My thought was to get the HP now and research other printers for my next purchase. It's new. Send me a survey in 6 months and I'll tell you more.
