This one is MUCH faster than the nine-year-old model that it replaced. The double-sided scanning is a godsend, and it's much quieter. The only complaint I have against it is the brain-dead HP Smart software which thinks my printer is "Printer Status Unknown," but is fully functional notwithstanding. This is a GREAT printer!!!!!

My life with the 9025 printer.

The only problem is with the front door flopping open when you get close to it. I'm not too fond of the discharge paper tray. Other than that, it is a good printer; I am used to the 8600 That finally decided to be more trouble than it was worth.

Good general purpose printer

The print size on the screen is a little small. Scans fast and faxes seem to work well. The HP Instant Ink program is very convenient - HP sends ink when the printer needs it. But even with that program, the per page cost is relatively high, and is the same for color or black and white printing.

It works great for all her printing with the hp instant ink. Only issue is it sometimes loses connection with my wife's computer wirelessly even when we don't have internet issues.

I usually go with Canon, but I was in need of a printer and my father in law got one of these. I did my research and love the air print capability, the separate ink cartridges and the quality of printing text or pictures. I can print from my phone, iPad or computer. I use it for home and work since I do work from home quite a bit. I also used the scanner quite a bit as we are trying to digitize our photo albums. Great printer at a great price
