I am not impressed.

If you cancel, your printer stops printing and you are stuck with worthless paperweights you paid for, but can't use. Of course it happened at the worst possible time. HORRIBLE idea by HP. Done with this company!

I’m sorry that you’ve encountered such difficulty with your printer and your Instant Ink plan. The frustration you express is wholly understandable, considering your printer was not available when you had an urgent need for it. I want to help you remedy this situation and get the device working again, so I’ll offer some clarifying information and a resource I hope will help.
First, as you probably already know, Instant Ink is a printing plan, not a cartridge purchasing service. This means you choose a plan based on the number of pages you would like to print monthly. You are billed monthly at the end of each billing cycle. Replacement cartridges are shipped as needed based on usage, not by the month. Instant Ink is voluntary, so you can cancel if you find it’s not working for you. However, once this takes effect, the Instant Ink cartridges you have will no longer work with your printer, and you need to replace them with cartridges bought from HP or another retailer. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience this caused you.

So far, it has been a life saver. I just have to figure why it goes offline needing troubleshooting to get it back online and ready to print.
