I've had to turn it off and on a few times from it just not wanting to print at all. Nothing wrong with the printer according to the app but there's 7 documents that refuse to print under the original port. I had to make a copy and use that one. Faxes stopped coming through as well. I wouldn't recommend getting this one

It’s louder than the HP 8720 and doesn’t appear as sturdy, but has worked very well so far. Love the 1-pass scanning capabilities

Printer jams continually

When it works, the images are clear and I have no problem with the quality or speed of the documents. However, the paper jams about every 3rd print job. The time it takes to clear the jams and have the printer go through it's "restart cycle" negates fast print time that it has. It's such a hassle not knowing whether your print job will be completed, or if you will have to clear the jam and try again, and again, and again. (I even used a brand new ream of paper, to see if that would help. It didn't). From now, I will stick with Epson printers.

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. I did not deviate from the model for the replacement since it is still the best option for me for the type of work I do. Just be sure to purchase the extended warranty plan from Best Buy.

It’s super easy and comes with an awesome downloadable app that easily lets you scan documents to your computer PDF or even email. Tracks you ink usage. When I purchase they have this special when you register to make it cheaper to get ink. It tracks how much you print and will mail ink at your home.

This was the biggest mistake I made. I went back to BestBuy to exchange it was quick and easy. As for setting up my printer since I telework from home it was so easy and HP customer service is great. The printer is study and prints quickly it’s the average printing noise and the color is nice too.
