Fast..but at what cost

I've had to turn it off and on a few times from it just not wanting to print at all. Nothing wrong with the printer according to the app but there's 7 documents that refuse to print under the original port. I had to make a copy and use that one. Faxes stopped coming through as well. I wouldn't recommend getting this one

Lacks adequate ink

After printing just a few pages, I received a low ink level message. Will not be subscribing to the Instant Ink subscription after the 6 month trial expires.

Best printer I have owned, although not perfect. The separate tray for envelopes doesn't always feed correctly.

Prints ink on paper

Typing on my laptop, click on a button with a printer on it...the printer puts the image from my screen onto paper. And the printer is in THE OTHER ROOM! A wireless printer!! This indeed is the greatest country in the northern half of the Western Hemisphere.

Good choice printer/scanner

Not so intuitive as to how to send a PDF from the printer to the scanner. Also, a bit larger than our previous printer.

Decent printer

Touch screen too small. Last unit I owned was a HP 8720 which I loved just went dead after almost 4 years at an average of 1200 printing 1200 pages monthly.

Is newer really better?

The 9025e is noisier that the 8740 in the print mode, otherwise it prints fine. It is in the scanning feature that one realizes that newer is not necessarily better. Document scanning is much slower and the editing feature is cumbersome and lacks the ease of adjusting found in the earlier model. Scanning and editing, e.g. a twenty page document with text and color graphics, can be a time-consuming and frustrating affair. The designers should have planned for a higher resolution of at least 600 dpi for documents that combine text with colored photographs. Rather disappointing,
