Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the OfficeJet Pro 9025's print quality, ease of use, and performance. Many appreciate the dual paper trays and the straightforward setup process. However, some users find the printer to be somewhat loud and on the larger side. The wireless functionality and scanning capabilities also receive positive feedback.

My HP 8170 was starting to show it's age and not functioning properly so I decided to look for a new OfficeJet All-In-One and purchased this model because it has dual trays. This printer uses HP Smart making it easy to do all tasks using the HP Smart app. This is not the best or the worst printer but it works for me.

Okay for plain paper printing, useless for fancy

This is the third HP OfficeJet Pro printer I’ve owned, and the first one I’ve wanted to throw out the window. Printing on plain paper from tray one mostly works fine, though the too-short output tray with its angled backstop sometimes results in paper landing on the floor. The bigger problem arises when you want to print business cards, brochures on glossy paper, note cards and invitations on thick paper, photos, or anything on fancy paper. For these, you need to use tray two, as tray one only accommodates plain paper. Since tray two lacks an adjustable length guide, paper feeding is extremely inconsistent. I’ve found that the distance from the top margin to where the printing starts can vary up to 3/4" page by page, and printing is often skewed diagonally no matter how carefully you’ve set your side guides. This renders the printer useless for printing business cards or anything that requires consistent positioning. Test pages printed on plain paper from tray one come out perfectly every time, while the tray two printouts of the same documents are all over the place. I’ve tried it with official HP paper and other common brands like Avery with no success, wasting hundreds of sheets of paper in the process. If all you ever do is print stuff on plain paper, you’ll probably be happy with this thing, but don’t count on ever using it for anything special. Truly bad product design from a company I’ve been happy with until now.

I purchased this item and use for a little while about 2 years then all of a sudden I got a paper jam and cleaned out everything and still getting error about paper jam. I’ve tried everything to clear it up but nothing has worked. Really annoyed. Can’t use it anymore.

So far so good. I had an older version of this printer. This can scan from the feeder both sides of a document. This was a major factor in buying. Seems like slightly better ink cartridges than lesser models.

Replacement for my old HP 6500 wireless printer. This one works just as well with more bells and whistles. This one can utilize the instant ink program which saves me money on ink replacement.

It's a good printer. Like most of it but, the touch screen. The icons are tiny for checking ink levels and takes multiple tries to get the levels to show. Usually get every other option to display. Also hate the constant popups to purchase ink via the web. If I wanted to that I'd sign up. Needs an option to ignore this option for ever. Won't buy again because of these 2 issues. Scanning also is a little clumsy if you try to use the touch screen. I have never successfully completed a scan via the touchscreen. Something always goes wrong. Works ok from the computer desktop program if you figure out how to load it.
