Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the OfficeJet Pro 9025's print quality, ease of use, and performance. Many appreciate the dual paper trays and the straightforward setup process. However, some users find the printer to be somewhat loud and on the larger side. The wireless functionality and scanning capabilities also receive positive feedback.

Automatic Document Feeder is Terrible. Ok, otherw.

I have used the last several generations of Officejet Pro printers and aside from a few annoyances, I have been satisfied. However, this one is no good if you need to use the automatic document feeder. It jams constantly and my time to scan documents in the 3 to 30 page range is now so, so much longer. This is a large part of my workflow, so I am going to have to abandon this for a better printer by a different brand. Not happy. I also don't like HP's constant desperate attempts to get you to use their ink by trying to harass you into signing up for a plan, and employing anti-competitive technological means to prevent any third party ink in the printers they manufacture. It probably won't be long until they start making you use only HP paper, too. Lol. I can't recommend this printer anymore, although I have recommended its predecessors to many people.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to learn that your printer’s automatic document feeder has performed so poorly. The frustration you express is wholly understandable, especially considering you often scan documents as long as 30 pages. I want to help you get the printer working to your satisfaction, so I’ll direct you to some resources aimed at making that happen.

First, I recommend you follow the steps in this guide to document feeders that pull through too many pages at once or fail to pick up paper at all:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01728503

If the problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

Love the larger capacity paper trays, but it is a little slow to copy color pages. Great value for the money. Love the wireless printing feature

We researched printers after ours died and found good reviews of this printer. It has not disappointed! I just wish it was easier to speak to someone at HP in person rather than only being able to "chat".

Every time I buy a new printer, it seems they make them cheaper with more plastic. However, it gets the job done-that’s what counts.

It's a decent printer. I have bad luck with printers and never had any printer work smoothly for me. Although it did better that other printers I own in the past, I still occasionally have issues, weird crashes and freezes. Firmware is up-to-date. Their drivers just don't seem as good on Mac and won't find the printer occasionally when it's online. Never had any issues from a Windows device.

First off I use an iMac. This is the 3rd hp printer I have had in the last few years. I found the instructions very poor. I think it intended to be a plug and play. It was not. I spent about an hour with customer service to finally get it to work. Now that it works it seems to be fine. I don't like the short flat bed scanner but it has a page feeder which will take legal size pages to scan. The ink is expensive.

Noisy and Scan to Network is terrible

If you really must buy this, purchase some ear plugs to go with it. The noise is from the screeching as it prints on paper. Option B, put it in a closet with the door closed and figure a way to shoot the paper out. It really is that bad. I setup scan to network. It works maybe half the time. Other times it states, job in progress, please try again later. A reboot sometimes fixes this, other times even a reboot displays the same error. I am VERY let down after paying for the 'better' model of the HP OfficeJet Pro line. I'll return this ASAP.

      Hi, Britt.

I’m so sorry to hear you’ve encountered trouble with noisy printing and your printer’s scanning function. The noise as well as inconsistency with the scanner indeed sounds frustrating. Given that, let’s see whether I can point you toward some helpful resources.

First, you can find troubleshooting guides (including one on scanning issues) as well as user manuals, video tutorials, software updates and other materials for your printer here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-9020-all-in-one-printer-series/23918456/model/23918457

I’ll also offer some explanation about the noisiness. While your printer is powered up, it makes sure that the nozzles are regularly cleared, which can be noisy, especially if the printer is on a hard surface. If you’ve not done so already, I recommend placing the printer on a padded surface to muffle the vibrations that occur.

If these suggestions don't seem to work, please contact us directly for support. We'd be happy to help you further: hp.com/contactHP

Awesome printer, Awesome purchase. Print quality is great on standard paper, card stock as well as photos. Setup was both quick and easy! I signed up for HP Instant Ink during setup. Step by step instructions were very clear and easy! The provided ink cartridges were very easy to install. The printer screen is very user friendly, self explanatory and simple to use. I absolutely love that this printer has only a power cable and is otherwise all wireless! Pro: smaller footprint than the previous models, one required cable for power only, improved HP ink ordering and pricing capabilities. More options Con: louder than previous models

It’s easy to install. However i had to research the web on how to resize my prints. Now I still haven’t figured out how to set “fit to page size” as a default. It prints the image larger than the letter size paper. Which means that I have to set the resize each time I print. Also, I don’t know how to control the quality of the image. The printer did not come with a basic manual.
