Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the OfficeJet Pro 9025's print quality, ease of use, and performance. Many appreciate the dual paper trays and the straightforward setup process. However, some users find the printer to be somewhat loud and on the larger side. The wireless functionality and scanning capabilities also receive positive feedback.

Couldn’t be happier. This printer has some great options that the cheaper and less advanced models don’t come close to.

Another quality office printer from HP

I've had good luck with HP printers over the last couple of years. I picked up a Laser Jet Pro M428 over a year ago, and have used it exclusively in a home office setting printing out hundreds of pages each month. Not a single issue with it the whole time I had it. Meanwhile, at the same time several other brands of printers have been in use in my home (for color printing) which have not lived as long. I don't know why, but HP has always worked out well for me when it comes to printers. When I got the chance to review the new OfficeJet Pro 9025e for the Best Buy Technical Insider Network, I jumped at it. Not only is it an office printer, it also has the ability to print in color (unlike my old M428). While I hate to let my trusty M428 Laser Jet Pro go, it would be nice to have one printer that can do it all. Set up is easy. I had no issues with getting the printer out, installing the ink, and connecting using the HP Smart app. There are two different trays for supply paper, and you can also set one of the trays up for printing envelopes. I love this feature. Saves having to purchase and print labels. The HP Smart app requires you to sign up for an HP account and offers you a couple of incentives for doing so: An additional year of warranty (a full two years) and 6 months free HP + an ink service that allows you to choose how much you plan on printing each month and supplies you ink as needed while charging a monthly fee. For example, once the 6 months offer expires, HP will charge you $4.99 a month to print 100 pages. When HP determines that your ink levels are low, they will automatically ship replacement cartridges. Exceed 100 pages, and HP will charge you an additional fee. For me, it remains to be seen if this is worthwhile, as it will be for any purchaser to decide. I will say that the cartridges on this unit are significantly large and may provide a lot of copies, but again that will depend on what is being printed. In operation, over the course of several days, I had no glitches or issues with the 9025e. It functioned perfectly, whether scanning 2-sided copies and emailing them direct to members of my workgroup, or printing technical documents and manuals. Photo printing was ok, but most folks aren't going to use this to replace a dedicated photo printer such as the HP ENVY 7855 which I felt had more vibrant results. Two sided color copies were extremely quick, maybe 2 seconds each. A stack of 2-sided documents placed in the feeder scanned without any issue and were stored on an attached hard drive. Overall, in my usage, I couldn't find anything about the 9025e that I didn't like. I know the price may put some people off, but in a home office setting where all aspects of an all-in-one are needed, the 9025e can handle the job.

I replace the HP Envy Photo 7100 series. This printer does much better with photos and I love the feeder for scanning. It is easy to set up and a very good printer for the price.

I love the printer. The only thing that is disappointment is the output tray is too small for 8.5x11 paper without curling up.

Doesn’t take as much space as my last printer. And comparably quieter. Only issue is it seems to print a bit slower. But not an issue for me as I don’t print stuff for a living.

I was helped by a young lady in the geek squad with my printer that was jamming. It took her ten minutes to fix the problem. No charge. Wonderful!
