With the Mac, the printer does not allow me to scan my mac with out the special HP Smart app AND I have to sign up for an account that tracks my usage. My HP 8600 worked flawlessly with both computers. For my windows computer, I can't get it to work as designed either. I've removed and reinstalled the software and get the same result.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Officejet Pro 9025 is an excellent addition to HP's always improving lineup of affordable Officejet printers that make the difficult tasks of managing a printer on a home network, quite simple. I've been using the HP Officejets for home use for about 15 years now and each iteration improves dramatically over the previous one in every way, when it comes to ease of use, auto-detection, wireless, speed, print quality and ink cost. This 9025 adds the HP Smart app which allows you to use your smart phone as not only a direct print device, but it also allows you to use sync'd cloud accounts to print from and scan to quite seamlessly. So now, instead of being bound to a physical computer, as long as all of your devices have your cloud account linked and you save documents/photos there, you can then print directly to them and also scan/save to them. We are currently buying a house and this has proven invaluable in terms of getting our documents signed quickly or emailed out. I can scan a check and my realtor can have a copy in our offer within minutes. My only complain so far....Add Office 365/Onedrive integration!!! There's Google docs and Drop box support currently but I'm an O365 user so OneDrive is needed!
