Always had issues with laptops because they are laptops, however this laptop has been working so smoothly and the 300hz screen is just amazing. It heats up pretty quickly when playing games but what laptop doesn't do that. I would highly recommend this laptop if you want a well built laptop

I bought this laptop for some light gaming. I get it home and on first boot it takes forever, I chalk it up to being the first boot. Then I finally get to the desktop and it's slower than almost any PC I've ever used. I uninstall all the bloat ware and the McAfee stuff and it's still painfully slow. After spending hours trying to uninstall things and applying updates I finally decide to check HP for any updates and apply the latest BIOS update which fixed everything. Ranking only 2 stars because what regular person, that doesn't have any technical skills, would think to do this? HP support may know this is an issue but still it's a horrible out of the box experience. Once I got the BIOS upgraded though it does run very well. I mostly play Halo MCC and it runs just as well as my desktop.

Good Laptop for gaming with performance cooler when play.

Good product, more on the quiet side when running which is nice. Lots of inside space, the extra rack on top for utensils is a nice added feature. Easy to use and love the options for washing. The only thing I haven’t liked are the dishes don’t seem to dry all the way even when set to do so. Otherwise, great product, love it.

Our main laptop died so replace with this awesome laptop.

I purchased at a large discount so I'm giving 5 stars. At the normal price that is near $1200 I would only give 4 stars, but I am happy with my first HP laptop. FYI, I have yet to test gaming abilities but it has nvidia geforce gtx 1660 ti graphics card so I expect it to be fine

First time using an amd gaming laptop, but honestly, if you can afford the intel 7, go with that one instead. The amd seems to have a slight flaw with multi tasking, and download speed while multi tasking. This was never a problem on intel chips. Still a great gaming laptop, so I won’t take that away.

The laptop was pretty nice I enjoyed the graphics and the looks of it. How ever the battery life was terrible in my opinion with only getting 1.5 hours out of it when it was fully charged.

Great laptop only thing that’s confusing about it is the fact of having to purchase a word document in order to write plus having to enter a Microsoft email I tried entering the one I have already and it said it’s already a domain when it’s mine so I had to create a new one

I haven't been able to game with the laptop extensively but I can say that as far as processing power goes, this sucker is fast. Display is beautiful. The fans help keep it cool when running a ton of applications which I do. I only wish it was a 10 key keyboard and that it had a touch screen!

Okay, for average gaming. However, I will still prefer 16GB memory and GTX 2060 for average gaming and little more future proof. But I really like new Omen laptops. Very good keyboard layout, solid build and good air flow while gaming.

Few things that made me return this laptop: 1) The body doesn't feel solid compared to Lenovo Legion 5. 2) All the ports are on the side of laptop, it would be great if HP move some of them to the back. 3) I don't like the power button position. 4) I don't like the square design of the bottom case vent. It feels cheap. 5 Loud 6) Few user reported the unchangeable screen brightness but I didn't have a chance to test this but good enough to made me run away from this laptop. The good thing is that this laptop have good price to performance ratio considering that I got this laptop for $850.
