Excellent laptop. I got this laptop during the holiday sale for my wife. She’ not a gamer, but the price and specs were right. She was coming from a 2015 retina MacBook and wanting a Windows laptop. The best thing about this laptop is that it is easy to upgrade the RAM and SSD. She now has 32GB of RAM and 1.5TB of storage. I highly recommend buying this one when on sale. Don’t pay extra for the higher spec, do it yourself.

I am a lifetime Apple computer user. However, I needed a Windows compatible computer for genealogy programs and other things. Two of my sons, who have worked at Best Buy in the past, helped me to research and select this HP Omen laptop because it had the performance I needed. I use several programs at once, and several browsers at a time, as well. The HP Omen has been very fast and surpassed my expectations.

Great laptop. Feels almost like a premium laptop, really solid built quality. Few complaints... When the screen is closed, there is a gap along side the keyboard area. This causes the screen to flex if you hold the laptop in the middle. The edge of the palm resting area is not rounded. Resting your wrists on the edge can be uncomfortable...unless you like sharp things against your wrist.

Excellent laptop, got it on sale for 850 and it is an incredible value. The screen is vibrant amd colorful out of the box without any tweaking necessary, much better than the slightly cheaper competitors. 144hz and 1660ti is an incredible value while also being paired with Ryzens mobile offering is an incredibly good deal. I recommend adding 8gb more ram and an additional ssd but even without it, it will still run great. Please keep in mind that this has 4x2 configuration of ram at 3200mhz so if you upgrade to 16gb you will need to buy 2 8gb sticks. First one haf some dead pixels but beat buy took care of me and the 2nd one is perfect. This laptop is an incredible value, I love the aluminum deck that doesn't flex, the 4 zone rgb keyboard and the 10 keyless layout. It's not over the top with the gamer aesthetic I bring it to school and work and younwpuld be hard pressed to tell it's just not a nicer professional looking laptop. I actually really like the omen logo. This laptop has a ton of power but I'm incredibly surprised at how thin this is. The cooling capability on this laptop is also no joke as long as it has adequate room to bring in cool air, so just place it on a hard surface and it'll be fine. For the price I am incredibly impressed with this laptop. This is definitely a must buy.

I love this laptop; it's probably the best thing I've ever purchased for myself. The design is very aesthetically pleasing to look at, especially the lighting under the keyboard. It's also really improved my gaming experiences. I can finally use the highest graphics settings without crashing my computer! Everything runs like a dream, smooth as butter.

The computer works great for online gaming. We did have to travel to another store to pick it up but we got it that day. The sale price was a deal we could not refuse. It was so good that we told another gaming friend about it and they bought one when we went to pick up ours. We all were looking to get a PS5 but decided to go back to PC online gaming instead.

I bought a certified excellent condition one. Very happy about it so far. My daughter is using it for all school works and her gaming and has no complaints. The build quality is very sold and it runs quieter than the similar laptops we had. The only thing that may be improved is the keyboard design. The layout is a bit stranger and some keys should have been larger.

This laptop has great graphics and its super fast. I recommend it 100%

Excellent Laptop with good gaming performance and very slick

I really love this laptop. I use it every day and I use it for everything. I love how I can game just about any game. Only down side is that the battery runs fast and it doesn't come with a lot of storage but its perfect for me since I don't need a TON. Would I recommend it to a friend? Probably not since the price is really high but I would push it if they were in the budget.

The laptop not only looks great but it's built is A plus. With a metal deck the touch points of the laptop feel solid, however, there is more flex in the screen than one might hope for but the hinge is solid and free of wobble while typing. The screen on this laptop is going to be a major win with a 144hz refresh rate, GPU's are good. lastly, the thermals i have no problems with it.

I got it for a gift for my sister and she loves it. The light up keyboard display is amazing and it runs pretty quiet. The SSD it comes with is rather small but can be upgraded. This is probably the lightest and most sleek models I've seen in the HP OMEN series and it's not hard to lug around like some of the older models.
