After undervolting, disabling the always on fan, and disabling cpu turbo boosting on battery, IT IS FINALLY USABLE WITHOUT BEING PLUGGED IN, ALSO, if you're looking to use this on the go for school or something, make sure you enable hybrid mode in omen settings, that way it'll use integrated graphics rather than the Nvidia gpu. After everything, this laptop is great, definitely looking forward to using it more

So far so good. The palm rest can easily be with finger marks and oils from my hands. I keep cleaning it. The keys are nice to press. The keys are not RGB per key but zone but enough for illumination. Booting is really fast. I bought this for my 3D Modelling needs and I am satisfied with its performance. I like the blue-tooth functionality for my wireless mouse because no need to plug-in USB receiver which can wear-out the USB ports.

Good Design, However the thermals are bad due to intel cpu. Hope it comes with Ryzen and 300hz display. However, for gaming it is a beast.

Delivered good performance in most of the games tested. Great clean design. Recommended for anyone looking for a good mid range laptop.

I purchased this laptop because I needed something for school that had better performance than my 2015 Macbook Air. I got a really good deal on it and it had everything I had been looking for, including a full size SD card slot! I use it mainly for production work (Adobe Suite) and daily tasks, but have gamed on it a couple of times and it performed quite well. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend.

We bought this for my son for remote learning but of course, he uses this for gaming too. He is RAVING about it’s performance and speed.

Awesome 300hz screen, lots of power with i7 processor and plenty of graphics power with gtr 2060. Got it $200 off so great value too!

So Far so good. The keyboard backlight is awesome. the keys are responsive and I like the feel of it when typing. It runs well and the fan can get loud but its only for a few seconds as it cools off and its quiet again. The display is crisp and I have no issues yet. I have to say that I haven't explored the full capabilities of this laptop yet but I wont doubt it will perform well.

Love it! Plays every game type perfectly and it's I credibly fast. Low battery life but that's expected with gaming laptops

Such a great laptop, very fast and efficient! Handles heavy games with ease, I typically play racing games and Warzone.

Would have been 5 stars if my first unit didn’t have a dead pixel. Best Buy was awesome and didn’t question it and gave me a new one. I have game pass and you can play gears 5 on ultra settings up to 4K 60, but for awesome experience 1440p up to 120fps on other games as well. Can’t wait to hook up my oculus. Don’t regret my purchase at all. Very cool laptop as well for running ultra settings

this is the best purchase I have made in a long time. I love this laptop, its able to keep up with everything I do on a daily basis. When the work day is over, the gaming is phenomenal. Being able to watch Netflix or Hulu has never been better. The curbside pick up was quick and simple. I didn't have to waste any time standing in line! I will definitely make my next purchase at best buy.

My only complaint about this laptop was the battery life was short outside of that this laptop performed well in all aspects.

So, I started using this laptop somewhere around the first (full) week of this month, and it's definitely a learning curve. The last laptop I had before this one was 12 years old. so there are a lot of features on this laptop that are "not new" features, but I've never experienced before. However, once i got the hang of it, using this laptop hasn't been a problem for me. I really have 2 issues with this laptop. The first issue is that there is no divider to separate left click from right click, so many times when I try to right click, it left clicks, and that gets really annoying really quickly. The second issue I have is that when playing a PC game, it starts to get really hot. if you turn the fans to max speed (using the Omen control center), it will cool off the laptop, but then the fans are louder than I'd like, and I have to leave the fans on that high speed for the entire time I'm using it for gaming [for the past 2-3 days though, the laptop hasn't gotten very hot while playing, and I'm not sure what to make of it, it's like sometimes it gets really hot and sometimes it doesn't... take from that what you will]. Both of these are not major issues though, and I really do like this laptop. Even if I wanted to, I'm past the point of being able to return this anyway, so hopefully this laptop continues to deliver.

Great Laptop experience from a casual user. Easily able to upgrade storage an ram, has been able to run all game I’ve thrown at it (overwatch, Halo, SC2), and able to complete everyday tasks with ease. Battery life isn’t the best about 2 to 3 hours real world so it’s not the most portable. Build quality isn’t bad haven’t had issues since it’s always loaded into a padded backpack. Would recommend to an entry user looking to try something lower price point laptop

The graphics is nice smooth running.... my battery life hasn't been holding. Guess thats what the warranty is for.

It runs quickly and smoothly, my only concern is that I pay so much for a laptop with a camera that makes it feel like I have an astigmatism with how much it picks up on the lighting streaks in a room. The keyboard lights broke on the 2nd day I had it and I had to manually update the keyboard so the omen command center could work right. These are the only problems you will run into.

Great laptop. Got it for my wife for gaming and it been awesome. Fans a bit loud but graphics are awesome.

Its an all rounder good laptop if you're into decent gamming or just regular work. I've tested it on GTA, RedDead 2, Mc, and a few more steam games and it works perfectly well. I've tried out zoom and a few more "work apps" and its pretty good. The only downside you'll prob encounter are loud speakers but overall a pretty good buy . -Holly's Son
