This has one of the best refresh rates possible(300 hz). It also has one of the better intel processors along with 16gb ram. The cooling the system provides is more than efficient and adequate. There is not much to say that that is bad about the product. The only point of concern is the flimsy screen which most people do not seem to care. However, I am not sure how long this may last after traveling quite a bit. All most all reviewers say that it is not an area of concern as it should hold up.

This Laptop is pretty great. A full powered machine allows me to play graphics heavy games. I was initially concerned about overheating and had read some reviews of people of complaining about overheating. While the machine does get hot when I an running intense games like SCUM, RUST, Dayz type on full graphics settings, I noticed that I did not get above 70c. I know about 80c is fairly average for that kind of load and get much above that is problematic. Quite happy.

Extremely reliable with a very nice RGB back-lit keyboard. Powers through many games on Ultra settings, and with the 300 hz screen RTX card, and Core i7 processor, even Cyberpunk 2077 runs like a dream. I'd highly recommend this laptop to anyone who seeks to have a portable gaming set-up . We got this as a gift for my girlfriend, and she produces music as well as plays virtual reality games using Oculus Link and an Oculus Quest 2. Very spectacular buy.

The new HP Omen has a great design and very nice 300hrz screen. It is powerful but also very portable for a 15.6” laptop. Played all the AAA games with ease. The fans gets loud but it is doing its job to cool the CPU and GPU. Only down side is the construction of the screen lid, it’s more flimsy that others and when closed there is a gap between the keys and screen. You can push down in the area and it bends too much, may damage the screen if your not too careful. The backlit of the keyboard is not bright and you can only change the color in the four zones. No dimming just on or off.

This laptop is very fast it does get fairly hot when pushed to its limits but I am able to play all games at the highest level of detail with no slow down

Its good in performance, proficiency, and speed. However it does over heat a lot, especially when running large games such as Apex, Fortnite, etc. If you do decide to purchase this laptop, do keep in mind this will need a additional fan cooler to subside the over heating. When it does overheat, the fans become really loud. Wouldn't recommend this if you play during night times and the family is trying to sleep.

Have been using the laptop for a month now, and have been highly satisfied with it. The fans goes a bit loud on the start, but it is silent if I am not using any complex operation. Great to find that they provide controls to the user to increase or decrease the system performance. The keyboard does have a slight different key placing, but I got used to it in couple of days. Apart, from that laptop is very handy and good for daily use as well.

This laptop has exceeded all expectations. The graphics are amazing, the computer is really fast. My only concern is it gets a little warm.

Spectacular computer though it seems its no longer for sale anywhere. If you happen upon it brand new in the box (and at retail price) you would not regret buying it. It plays all games I've thrown at it (CS:GO, apex, sims 4, warzone) at high settings will all of the games around 60 fps and on normal settings I get an average fps of 200 and with the 300hz screen is as smooth as silk.

Great graphics and speed. The gaming controls and options are super. The only thing I don't care for is how loud the fan is when it's on.

Perfect balance for work and gaming. I bought this laptop for work on the go and gaming after work. I have to say this laptop has impressed me. Cooling is one thing I'll have to say is awesome. Running games on this RTX GPU has been a great experience. Since my preference is FPS gaming the 300Hz display has been a game changer vs my 60Hz previous laptop. If you're looking for a great laptop for gaming and dont want to break the bank, look no further.

bought this computer for my son and I. we both use programs that need a lot of power. I use autocad for drafting and he uses it for gaming, fortnite etc. This computer is fast and has great graphics. i work really fast and click one thing right after another. this computer keeps up with me and doesnt lag. only cons, which is just preference, is that it does not have the 10 key numbers on the left side of the keyboard. im used to typing with those. but after a couple of weeks i am adapting.

This is a fantastic gaming laptop for someone who does not feel like building a PC but still wants to be able to upgrade their rig. I use mine for gaming, photo editing, and music/media creation and it does a good job at this! As well, if you'd want to upgrade your RAM and/or SSD storage, it is very modular inside so the longest part of upgrading this laptop will be unscrewing the back shell. Overall this is a good purchase and is great for upgrading!

Had this laptop since the pandemic. Still runs great and runs alot of AAA titles just fine

Great laptop, awesome graphics and fast. Does tend to get hot but when plugged in but not bad considering size and CPU.

The battery pack overheats causing the computer to have a system issue and then crash. When updating to windows 11 there were many issues. The omen game boost tends to cause interference with certain games that are on steam and epic. There are other issues that are built into the omen that are not compatiable with gaming in general as this system crashes on me regularly. Have had to purchase external hard drives just to save games to as even having half the hard drive filled for some reason causes some internal issue. Still unable to find real reason as when no games are on it and it is set back to factory settings and only running Microsoft edge it works fine for the most part. Any time there are updates to Windows there are multiple crashes over the next couple of days. It could have been built better in my opinion for gaming as the video card works wonderfully but the fans draw to much power along with the video card causing more issues along the way. So much potential but missed the mark.

I came to this laptop from a 5-year-old HP Envy. I did not take into consideration much as the price was the issue last time. This time, I came because of the CPU and GPU. So far, I have not found a single game in my 200+ catalog that this laptop cannot run well. Even the dozen or so newer games that my old laptop could not even launch, let alone run. I am very happy so far with this laptop.

I bought this laptop new on sale. I’ve had this laptop for a few months now and can honestly say that it is simply an amazing machine to work with. I would’ve preferred a current gen ryzen setup, but that’s not to say the 10750h isn’t more than enough power for the majority of users. 300 hz panel looks so smooth. For the price I got it at, it’s an obvious steal.

Laptop is well built. Runs cool while gaming with speakers that get surprisingly loud and sound great. This laptop had a second M.2 slot to expand storage. This laptop is an all around winner. I have tried several gaming laptops and they all suffer from extreme heat or other problems. There is a little screen flex but that is not a flaw but designed to flex

This Laptop have almost everything you will want for work and games and all this under $1500. The graphic NVIDIA RTX 2060 cards is fast and the 300Mhz refresh screen makes all the games awesome. I have look at all other comparative laptops and were well over $2000. During the games the laptop may get little hot but I got 5 fans cooling pad which nicely cooling it down.
