Very good for gaming but can get pretty hot in lap. The C key also broke for me

One of the best gaming laptops and PC’s I’ve ever had. I’ve had it for about a month now and I made sure to wait before posting a review just to make sure I’ve really used it. The screen quality is amazing and it runs super quick. I use it for both college and gaming and it’s safe to say I can do both simultaneously without any issues.

Very nice gaming laptop, graphics are great, speed is wonderful and storage was more than sufficient but the screen went black on the 5th day so I had to take it back to Best Buy for an exchange. The other downside is that it is packaged in a plastic shell that is light and flimsy and in my opinion it’s too cheap for a gaming laptop at this price point.

It's all about the price. Other laptops out there with same components installed. The difference is if you plan it right and get it on sale. Best buy has sales. I purchased this laptop for $1145 plus tax. i7, RTX 2060 with great refresh rate makes this a deal maker. In other words plan it right with the price and it's a deal.

Awesome laptop! Would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonable gaming laptop. I've been using it daily with no issue. There's very little bloat ware that comes pre-installed. The overall build quality is very good as well. The only downside is that the fans can be very loud with the machine is under stress.

I bought this laptop since I purchased an Oculus Rift-s and my other gaming laptop wasn’t compatible as it requires a DisplayPort connection. I would have to say it has handled running everything I have thrown at it so far without any issues. It runs the Oculus Rift s with no problems, I do have an extra fan to sit the laptop on to keep it cool though as the fans do seem to run pretty fast when I’m playing VR.

Fast to loading great for doing school work and gaming as well.

Great laptop, fast, responsive, excellent display. I’m reviewing on a phone so I don’t know if that’s why I can’t rate at half stars but I would rate this a solid 4.5/5 only because when the fans kick on, it sounds like a space shuttle taking off but has good thermals so I can deal with it.

Great laptop for the price. I bought this on sale and can say I'm rather happy with the performance. I can run things like FFXIV, Visual Studio Code and Spotify at the same time without issue. The only con is the fan noise(I have the laptop on a stand) when playing GPU intensive games.

Finally a laptop with some real performance. I scrimped before on laptops and I love my Omen desktop so much I decided to spring the extra bucks for an HP Omen when it came time to replace the laptop. So glad I did! This thing is fast! My daughter games on it and loves it too.

The 2020 Omen laptop is an amazing laptop with improved design over its previous models. With a RTX 2060 GPU this will excellent for gaming at 1080p high settings or 1440p mid to high setting depending on the game. If you are aiming for 4k go with the RTX 2070 version of this laptop which you can probably find on sale for at least $100 off at bestbuy.

To Start off I had an Old Dell G5 Gaming Laptop that was aged. I needed to be able to keep up and play games smooth. Since I wanted to play Flight Sim 2020 and could barley play it on my old laptop I needed to make sure the new one would. This HP has checked all my boxes when it comes to playing any game out now as well as FS2020 on High End and Ultra (Ultra dips a little although still playable.) Fortnight plays all at max settings as well as every other game I play. Only 2 gripes I have is the storage, 512 is ok... But with the extra M2 SSD slot I added a 1TB for $150 that oddly is much faster then the stock 512 :) and the second is the lid hinges... If you lower the screen to half it slowly closes and shuts the machine off. Other then that it is fantastick.. I love it.

This gaming laptop is really awesome. I like the rainbow backlight keyboard feature. It responds so well and easy to video game. Did not have any issues when I played Elden Rings and other video games. It runs hot though so make sure to have a fan under.

I bought this laptop to edit video and thus far it has been up to the task. I'm not a consistent content producer, but I do create videos for my office and my family on a regular basis. This laptop has handled everything I've asked it to do without dragging or crashing. Toward the end, my previous machine started getting glitchy on the playback within Adobe Premiere. In fact, I had almost forgotten what smooth playback looked like until I cut my first video with the Omen. There are a couple of very minor issues. The keyboard is backlit, which is essential to me. But it's backlit in a rainbow of colors. Not really my style. Would have liked just plain lighting. Also, in order to access the functions above the F buttons, you have to press Function and the F button. Cumbersome if you're just trying to turn the volume up or down. It doesn't have a numeric keyboard on the right side of the keyboard, but I found that I didn't really miss it. It's branded with Bang and Olufsen, but the sound from the speaker is pretty average. I've yet to really test it's functionality, but for the level of editing I do, it's performed like a champ.

I got this when it was on sale with a student discount and it turned out to be about 1150 before tax and so far it been great. The laptop is loud with nice graphics and can responsive. I do wish it could last longer on battery, but considering that it is made for gaming I do get a decent 5 hours on productivity work.

There are only a few shortcomings in reviewing this laptop. The first is lack of a lighted keyboard. The second is not having a separate number pad. One other minor this is the font used for the keys. I’m not a fan. The performance is awesome along with the sound and graphics. Good value for the money.

Laptop works great! I can play warzone on high settings with ray tracing with great fps. I would recommend a padded backpack to protect the laptop, as the screen feels nimble. Fans run a little loud but temps are good so far. Definitely an upgrade from my Lenovo and a great deal at the price.

Pros: * It can run the persona 4 golden intro without frame drops. * Laptop kept cool under high usage Cons: *The trackpad sucks and it makes scrolling through websites annoying * Additionally the first Omen that I got came with audio crackle and the second one that I got the screen was all black.
