This computer is amazing. Great value and awesome performance. 16gb in ram makes this laptop great for gaming and you can easily upgrade it. (I’m running it with 32gb now)... Omen control center is a great addition to the laptop and the Nvidia GPU is one of the best as well.

The laptop plays games really well but can get pretty hot when there’s a decent amount of background apps running during games. Also it took me a while to get used to the monitor—the corners have a bit of “glow” which this type of technology sometimes has. But overall it looks great.

Well built, fast screen, excellent thermals, and when gaming in performance mode the CPU gets 55watts and GPU gets 100watts. A little loud in perfoamnce mode but balanced is not any louder than any other gaming notebook. When its on sale I think its the best 2060 laptop to buy.

Lasted me a good while. Ran great, for the time it came out it was a top end laptop I’d say. If you want something in this day and time that can run things like ESO and GW2, at medium/high graphics, this is for you.

This is my first gaming laptop after owning a Macbook Air for 7 years and while it did take a bit to get used to the transition, I am very happy with this purchase! I was convinced by my partner to get this laptop due to the graphics card and the cooling power and boy does this beast cool! I bought it to play more PC games after my Macbook nearly exploded due to the processing power that the games demand and this computer makes it look like cakewalk. The only thing that I do want to mention is that the brightness could not be adjusted (it's apparently not an HP Omen issue but how Windows 10 was installed on this computer) until Windows 10 has been reinstalled from scratch so please keep that in mind!

It ran everything I wanted fine, on higher settings. My issue with it is the battery life, and how hot it got. First off the battery life. Even doing just every day tasks with it, You will be lucky if you get 3 hours. This is after adjusting it back to integrated graphics and reducing the power profile. If you are going to be doing some heavy task, you will get about an hour on full charge. Basically to use this Laptop you always need to be connected to power.....which kinda defeats the point of a laptop doesn't it? Which leads into my second issue, Heat.....This thing gets very hot even with the fans blasting, and they are very loud. Hot enough it will burn you if you put it on your lap, and the power brick gets even hotter than that. I had it on a book on my desk while I was charging/using the laptop, and it got so hot it actually discolored the cover of the book. I've never had any power brick do that in my lifetime of using tech. It will also use battery, even while plugged in, while gaming or under heavy loads, so if you are having a gaming session and then want to pop it off the charger and stick it in your bag, the battery won't be charged at 100% making it's already short life even shorter. I have no idea what happens when the battery gets down low when gaming and plugged in, but my guess is, in order the meet power consumption requirements, it needs that extra juice from the battery and power supply, so if the battery is low, it will likely throttle it's performance. The screen is ok, but did have pixel anomalies, some scaling issues, and the 300hz screen is pointless. Even on lower settings you will be lucky to hit 300 FPS on just about any AAA or competitive game, they would have been better off with a 144hz screen of better quality. All this combined made me return it, and I am glad I did,

So honestly I have no idea, however we purchased for our son for his birthday. Now don’t judge us.. it’s Covid season and the kid has been stuck in this house, is a teenager, and enjoys playing online with his friends. So the family chipped in and got him this laptop for his birthday.
Well he loves it and it plays all his games, with out the lag he was getting on the Mac. It wasn’t as expensive as those other gaming laptop with the fancy glowing lights, but it’s doing the job! Visuals are great, downloads are quick, we have no complaints. If you also can’t afford one of those fancy glowing high speed gaming laptops, this really does the job well. Buy it!

Great Screen Image - Touch Pad Concerns

The screen image is great. Sound is good too. Touch Pad is too sensitive - jumps around - zooms in and out at the slightest touch. Technician adjusted the setting to not be so sensitive but made little difference.
Don't trust the mouse click area will hold up over time - seems iffy.
Plastic case on the back of the screen rather than metal - may not last long. It has most of what I wanted - but am concerned about the longevity. It doesn't feel like a computer that will last long.

This was a excellent purchase for my teenage son. The processor is super fast. The fan does not over heat. Although I would still recommend a laptop cooling fan for when you have multiple applications open/ Worth the price.

Got this awesome laptop and honestly its holding up pretty well! It does get pretty hot if playing cod or cyberpunk at high settings while plugged in but I got a razer laptop stand and it cools down pretty good,I recommend any laptop stand with an open bottom so the air goes in and flows out to the sides, overall the omen15 has all the connections you need especially the mini DisplayPort for my oculus rift s and the thunderbolt 3 port for my dual screens,I researched high and low about getting a modem laptop without spending too much and this laptop fits the balanced price of not too cheap or too expensive for its purpose!

Fast, reliable, great graphics. Running numerous heavy programs with no thermal throttling. Was recommended this computer by an engineering firm who uses it professionally. Purchased this after returning the new $2k HP Spectre.

Mobile gaming is exactly that so if hardcore gaming, get a desktop w/2080Ti
This guy, with the RTX2060 is absolutely amazing. The games run smooth and the cpu keeps up with all titles. The 300hz display, altho will never hit 300fps in anything is amazing regardless.
This is the COOLEST running laptop even with RTX on and gaming 70c ... i never see it cpu or gpu.
Price was a steal also. The AMD Ryzen 9 model would have been great, but only with 1660ti and no Thunderbolt 3 was a no go for me. Even if the amd model had RTX.. the no TB3 would have still steered me to the intel model.
Build quality is great (for a plastic build) and runs fantastic and cool!
If you are looking for a gaming laptop this tops my list even above a razer with a i9 and 2080 .. cant beat value/performance combo in any other system.

I got this laptop because the laptop that I was using broke. It was honestly an investment since it's relatively expensive. IT'S WORTH IT THOUGH! I mainly use this laptop to play games, but I also use it to do some of my school work. I love it because it games look really good on it and it boots up really fast. I also recently got into streaming and this laptop has been great for that as well. The only thing that I dislike about the laptop is the keyboard. I love the color, but the formatting of the keyboard makes it difficult to find a keyboard cover. I still can't find one, but it's okay since I'm extra careful with it.

Ive been waiting for a gaming laptop like this for a long time. HP solved what other companies have been struggling with. TEMPS ARE GOOD. 70-80c HP vs 90-100c in things like razer and macbook. Plenty fast and a 300hz screen.

I purchased the Asus Rog Zephyrus m15 on Black Friday due to the rave reviews. The laptop performed well, however the heating was an issue. I understand that gaming laptops tend to heat up whenever the CPU or GPU is in use, however, the M15 would heat up when idle. I then returned the M15 for the HP OMEN 15. So far, I have not had any heating issues or loud fans. The laptop runs very cool compared to other gaming laptop competitors and the performance was better than the M15. Highly recommend.

I wanted to buy a laptop that I could use mostly for gaming and this one checked all the boxes. I was able to run all of the games I liked and I was getting pretty good frames for running on a laptop. I ended up upgrading to a full blown gaming PC later on, but I still use this laptop for other needs and I couldn't ask for anything better. The only change I made to the laptop was adding a 1 TB drive for more storage. This laptop has two PCIE slots for M.2 drives, so all I had to do was take off the bottom plate of the laptop and install the new drive. The display is 300 Hz which is way more than is needed, but still a plus.
