Well after reading the review guidelines, I'm not certain if this review will be posted or remain online. But here we go anyway. I first purchased a laptop (different manufacturer) from Best Buy Costa Mesa 3 years ago. I bought the extended warranty for four years, and thankfully so, or so I thought. After someone spilled their coffee all over the keyboard, it died. No brainier, electronics and liquids don't mix well. No problem I thought, I bought the nearly $400.00 warranty. After being helped by a wonderful Geek Squad member, my laptop was shipped off for warranty repair. It showed up in their system some 3 weeks later as non-repairable. After multiple online support sessions and phone calls, I was able to talk to a human being who assured me that a store credit would be issued. Fast forward another week, and it's rinse and repeat the process. This time I decided that this required some face time. So I went to the store that I had made the purchase from, and after some detective work by our helpful Geek Squad agent, he found the problem. I was issued a store credit. I proceed to shop for the replacement, where I find out that the model I had was no longer offered. Not a big surprise, as it was over three years old. So I add $200 cash to my newly acquired store credit, and purchase the HP Omen. After getting back home with my new laptop, I fully charged the battery and proceed to get on with my life and work. Fast forward three months, yes months not years, and guess what. My nearly new, more expensive laptop will not charge, not even turn on. In trying to arrange to make an appointment with the Geek Squad, I'm told that a new AC Charger is likely needed at a cost to me of $150.00! And to top it off, I have to drive an additional 30 minutes to a completely different store than where I purchased. HP is definitely not much better in the service arena. Heck, their system doesn't even recognize the model or serial number that's printed on the bottom of the laptop! It used to be that brick and mortar shopping had some advantages. Well my friends, that's no longer the case.

its ok it can run most games at 120 fps but also can the ps5 and the xbox series x, but to get descent FPS you need the fan on high and it sound worse than a ps4 fan like 4X louder. This is good for portable gaming. It has a trash keyboard the FN lock is weird you have to hold FN when you want to use the FN keys. over all the best parts are you can switch out the ssd and the ram to a higher better parts. also the tuch pad clicks if you rest you hand next to it. BEFORE PUCHSING DO NOTE THE BATTEY LAST ABOUT 3-4 HOURS OF JUST RUNNING MINECRAFT AT LOW SETTING AT 30 FPS.

runs games well, good value laptop. battery life can run out quickly when not on battery saver (~4-5 hours)

Overall great laptop. Speed and graphics are on point for the specs. Unfortunately it gets really hot, fast when it does the mouse pad sticks when you click it. If you use a plug in mouse then you shouldn't have issues.

Good for the price. My grandson needed an updated laptop that could run games requiring more GHZ than his current. This one met all the specifications for a particular game he wanted to play. I would have been a little happier if it had come with HDD storage. He plays it plugged in so not sure about the battery life.

A great laptop for a good price. Runs heavy games like GTA V just fine, and I use it all the time. Runs about 3-4 hours on battery when not running heavy programs. Graphics are incredible.

Purchased the HP Omen for my nephew starting college as an engineering major. Excellent laptop. Highly recommend!

The touchpad is not working probably and the caps Lock is working strange.

First laptop I've purchased in years. Was a very smart & thoroughly researched purchase that made my son a very happy teenager!

Ngl I thought it wasn't gonna run like a new gen game because of it's an laptop.
