I absolutely love this laptop, beautiful screen, great speakers (you do have to turn them up a bit to really enjoy the sound they produce). It plays any games at max and game play is buttery smooth. Fans can get a bit loud but that's to be expected, they are quieter than my Alienware 17 fans by a good amount. If you're looking for a great laptop at a fair price this is the laptop for you.

This laptop is so trendy fast! Lightweight! The graphics card is perfect for on the go gaming, photo and video editing. The 2k resolution is perfect for it's screen size, but it could've been better if the screen is AMOLED. Sound is highly acceptable! Price is unbeatable. Camera is just HD, but luckily the colorful RGB keyboard is perfect in setting the mood.

I need a gaming computer to run the software necessary for my job. I consulted the firm that supplies the software and thought this computer would be exactly what I need. The upgraded graphics card is needed for the animation to properly run the software. The company is continually upgrading their product so I needed something that I wouldn't need to replace within 18 months, I hate changing laptops. The OMEN has worked great. It has handled the program fantastically, the clarity of the picture and speed of the processor have made things better for my presentations and design work. So gaming computers like this aren't just for kids.

So far loving this laptop! Does everything I need it to (mainly editing photos and videos) and super fast. Only downers is the power cord is huge and not a very long lasting charge when unplugged.

Great so far, I've only had it a month and no problems so far. It's handled any game I've thrown at it so far with no issues. The custom dynamic lighting keyboard is really cool. I also like the screen it's clean and crisp and the high refresh rate all on screen action is great. All of the performance customizations in the omen app are great and it comes out the box with minimal bloatware.

Good build quality. Good display. Good thermal. Don’t have usb c charge it’s minus .

Overall product specifications are great and the fan's keep it to a respectable temperature in my opinion (also not loud). Really happy with this purchase!

Absolutely amazing, this laptop both looks and performs beyond expectations.

The Omen was on sale for a really good price which makes it worth it. It also doesn’t look ridiculous so I can use it in professional situations while still being able to have fun with it at home.

So far so good, everything runs smooth. Cooling is amazing and quite, even the fans run at full speed, the noise is still acceptable to me. It can kill most of the recent AAA games without any problems. Since it has high performance parts inside, battery life is not that great. Some adjustments can be done to lower battery consumption in battery mode, but not much. You better bring the power brick if you're going to use it more than 2 hrs. The screen looks yellowish to me, maybe it is there to reduce blue light. I couldn't find a way to fix it. Overall, it is a great gaming laptop.

So far so good, I love it! Needed the fast CPU for work and it's super great! Battery life is always a sacrifice for high speed and great graphics but one I'm willing to trade for.

I got this OMEN on Christmas this for my son I tested for CAD design and also he plays in it wife 6 is super fast no need Ethernet cable color ceramic white looks amazing so far so good compare with others brands RTX 3070 the prices are insane, for students and work I just order today one for my self omen 17 RTX 3070TI for cad design.

Okay, after trying out at least 5 other Gaming laptops The OMEN was the easiest to set up I mean zero gliches or problems..even switched to windows 10 very easily. Yes you can reset to 10 for free and I suggest you do until later. The OMEN runs smooth and handles all software with no stutters or issues..anyway buy one you won't be sorry.

Purchased HP OMEN 16.1 gaming laptop during New Year's sale and had it shipped to my home. Pre-sale new laptop was $1750, during sale $1450. Best Buy open-box item in excellent condition (like new) with all original packaging, cables and parts was $1325. I selected the open-box. After 2-3 days I noticed the touchpad would randomly stop functioning. I couldn't select folders. I couldn't move the cursor. I had to connect a wireless mouse to effectively use the laptop. I inquired about exchanging the laptop for a new one but there was an issue. The New Year's sale event ended before I received my computer so I could return the laptop and get the $1325 purchase price returned and buy a new one right off the shelf but now the purchase price would be $1750. Had I known the laptop had a major issue with the touchpad, I would have purchased the "new" product the first time around.
