Most people complain about the screen, but for this price range this screen looks great. The color gamut is very good for it's price. The factory SSD is small and requires an extra SSD install of you game a lot. Luckily, theres an extra slot for that. There is also two LPDDR slots for the RAM. Add another 16 GB stick to future proof your laptop My only concern is thermals or some other weird issue. Its been less than one year and the laptop will shut off the keyboard and screen while playing games. It will not turn back on unless I unplug the power cable and close the lid, then reopen. The game is still running when it opens. There is apparently a known issue with this that I wasnt privy to, else I wouldn't have purchased. CPU tests failed within in 1 minute, so CPU stability seems terrible. Now the device wont even power on and is useless. I will never buy another HP laptop again after this

Pretty good laptop, memory is a little lacking but easy fix. Fans are quieter than the 2018 model thats for sure. I have had some glitcheyness though, cant tell if its the laptop or Steam though. Overall love this laptop.

I was looking for a new laptop to replace my 9 year old Dell. Did what I thought was a lot of research and landed on the HP Omen 16. The laptop ran like a dream for the first 7.5 months then when I was playing a game on it one night the screen went black and the keyboard stopped responding. I couldn’t turn the laptop off. The game continued to play. While trying to figure out the issue I learned that this is a known issue with the Omen. Something about the laptop going into hibernation mode due to poor design. I had to hook the laptop up to the hdmi on my television to turn it off. The issue happened a couple nights later when I tried playing the game again so I took it to the geek squad. Had I known about this issue I would’ve went with a different laptop. Beware. If you do ignore my review get the warranty, but beware the sales representatives say it’ll cover basically anything that goes wrong (apparently won’t cover software issues).

Great laptop with great performance! Can run all modern games super well when plugged in. The memory and storage are both super fast, although limited. The best part though, THEY ARE UPGRADABLE!!! I love that they made the parts replaceable.

Only real complaint is the screen. I didnt realize it was only a 1920x1080. It has a 4070 that can handle much more. Plays red dead redemption 2 at max settings over 60 fps as well as cyberpunk.

This is an awesome laptop. It is fast, has great sound, and great graphics. I use it for school, work, and gaming. Love love the large screen size as well. I am so happy with my purchase!

Got exactly what was listed and works well. It must be a best buy only set up. I couldn't find this exact Same AMD version out on display in store but they have it. I caught it on sale.

Solid laptop for the price -- easily upgrades possible (no soldered ram 2 x M2 NVME slots). Battery lasts longer than expected for a gaming focused laptop.

This laptop is excellent and super fast for gaming. Very compact and lightweight to carry back and forth to school. The key board is easy to type on.

I like this omen, not overheating issue at all, fan is super quiet even running games. 1080P is usable but I prefer 2K screen on a 16 inch laptop.

Honestly a really good laptop. I mainly use it for games and school I use this thing on a two monitor setup and and is able to open multiple games and movies 10/10 would recommend

Smooth performance and excellent graphics! The quick boot time and backlit keyboard are a bonus. I highly recommend!

an ok value, but really crazy cooling system. not very great when it comes to noise, however its ok. but not 1900 dollars ok.
