I'd recommend this gaming laptop for those games that have to travel for work, it plays all the top played online games pretty smooth. But juat like all laptops they still get hot so get yourself a cooling pad.

Great price for its hardware runs Elden ring at a solid 60 Fps. Its a laptop so don’t expect the same performance as a pc. The 2 big things to know is due to the power costs of the hardware it absolutely throttles itself if its not fully plugged. (Make sure all parts of the charging plug are firmly together.) The other thing is budget in a solid secondary SSD to install because the 512 is Gigabytes is nothing in the modern world. Especially if you do any form of multimedia design or hardcore gaming. My only complaint is that the UEFI is manufacturer locked so you dont have the choice to over clock your hardware.

Great laptop for gaming! High quality with great software from HP to control performance settings. Also doesn’t get as hot as other laptops during gaming even on ultra settings. Warzone 2 runs at 120-130 FPS on max settings.

I got this laptop because i needed somethung for school its great and plays abh game you throw at it. I got the 512 gigabyte one and the first thing im doing is upgrading the storage. Great laptop overall

It is a very good gaming laptop for its discounted sale price, but you may need to upgrade it with a second SSD.

Bought this laptop when it was on sale for $1190 and oh boy it was worth the purchase! I was considering getting the Omen Transcend 16, but found out that version only had 1 SSD slot compared to this. I 'future proof' the laptop by upgrading it to 64GB Memory and added a 2tb SSD nvme storage. If this goes on sale for $1200 or below $1k it's a no brainer. As of 2024 this laptop can play high-ultra settings at 1080p resolution.

I used to not even consider hp in the gaming arena of laptops but this has changed my mind. It's not perfect but there's just so much I like about it. Soeakers could be louder.

Laptop is a great purchase when on sale. Has no issue running any current game. Definitely recommend adding another nvme drive though.

I love this laptop, it has been a great experience to use and can play just about any games comfortably. I use it for just about everything I do, for school, work, and my hobbies. The only minor issue I have ever really had was the battery can die pretty fast sometimes. 10/10, would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a comfortable and versatile pick.

This will be my first ever HP Gaming laptop purchased in which I plan on using for work and studying as well. I’m new to the PC game world but so far this laptop has met my expectations especially at its price point. Very powerful but slim looking laptop that doesn’t really look like a Gaming laptop which I like. I’ve test ran some different games and they’ve all ran nice.

I bought this on sale for $1199. Absolutely worth the price. I was able to break a record on 3D mark winning the top score for all other laptops with the same CPU and GPU. Don’t hesitate to buy this. It runs the 4070 at full power. The 1080p screen is good. Does not have HDR and only gets up to 300nits brightness. The keyboard does have multi colored options but not per key. It’s per section. WASD keys and like 3 other clumps of keys.

Good laptop fast and with a few upgrades a beast battery life does ok.

The less I know about other people’s affairs, the happier I am. I’m not interested in caring about people's laptops. I once had a laptop for three years and never read a review. Best laptop I ever had. I still never read them sometimes I’m a simple man. I like pretty, dark-coloured laptops and breakfast food.

Been using it for 2 weeks now and if you like to play video games, emulators and do extra with you study work this is the laptop you should get, it packed with 16gb of RAM and Ryzen 9, minimal 512gb of space but its upgradeable and its only a small con compared to all the features that help you get your work done and fast.

Bought this laptop because it was onsale.. 650 off. It does everything it is advertised to do and then some.. Told a nerdy friend of mine about all the specs and he was amazed at the speed this laptop has and the ability to upgrade. He was quick to grab this model for himself.

Ive had my omen 16 for about a month. I usually play ps5 but decided to get back into computer gaming. (its been almost a decade) I have tested out a few games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Alan wake 2, and Destiny 2. only played each about 15 minutes at maximum graphics and it ran great. I bought 64gb 5600mhz kingston fury impact and a 1tb firecuda 530 pcie to put in it. It is pretty hard to pry this laptop open though so I haven't gotten around to doing it. The sound is pretty decent, about what you expect for a laptop. Battery is ok, about what you expect for a gaming laptop. the screen could be a tad bit brighter. I like the feel of the keyboard, i like the powerz either net, and hdmi are on the back to help reduce visable wires. I use a wireless g502 mouse with it. Most the downsides like storage and ram are upgradeable for pretty cheap. I will say it is hard to find any videos about this exact model number online, even on the hp website i cant find anything.
