I’ve had this laptop for a month and I’ve loved it so far. Everything runs smoothly and I’ve had no problems so far. It’s pricey though so I’d only buy it when it’s on sale.

This laptop is built for serious gamers and content creators who need top-tier performance. If you only plan to use it for basic tasks like browsing, it’s overkill — but if you want a machine that will stay powerful for years, it’s an excellent choice.

Pretry Amazing Laptop . Im no top notch gamer, but love a sturdy niche laptop that can run modern day games smoothly. Get your moneys worth. Went from an HP Envy x360 to this & its such a beast. Worth every cent, I got it for sale. Worth the 1.3k Amazing run time.

I purchased this laptop when it was on sale for the price of $1,189.99. I got it home- turned it on and had great performance for about 10 days.
After the 10-day mark hit, the laptop had random black boxes appearing on the display. After a failed NVIDIA graphics driver update, and the laptop randomly shutting down, I was forced to return it.
I would not recommend HP or specifically this laptop to anyone, due to the bad experiences that I have had with the brand and its products.
Lenovo and Gigabyte are my recommendation to you if you are looking for a well-made, well-performing laptop.

The HP Omen is an amazing machine. The speed, performance, and display are all top-notch. There is only one downside, and it could be a deal breaker for mobile users. The battery life isn't great. On the Eco setting, I can get about 5 to 6 hours of use just doing regular browsing or working in Word or Excel. But if you try to play a game on the battery, you are lucky if you can get a couple of hours before it's at 20%.
The battery life is not something that really concerns me, because I intend to dock it and use it as my primary desktop. The fact that I can undock it and use it as a laptop is an added benefit for me. The laptop does get hot when it's running at max output, so make sure you have it on a surface where it can get good air intake. Some reviews have said the fan is loud, but I don't notice it. The Omen has been able to run every game I have thrown at it without any issues. If you can catch it on sale, like I did, it's totally worth it.

Excellent performance and a great 2K 144Hz display. The Ryzen 9 and RTX 5060 handle modern games and multitasking with ease, and 32GB of RAM is a big plus. Build quality feels solid and thermals are well-managed. My only real complaint is the trackpad—it works fine but doesn’t feel as responsive or premium as the rest of the laptop. Majority of users will use a mouse so its not that big of an issue. Battery life is average for a gaming laptop, but overall this is a strong and reliable choice.

Fantastic machine. Great frame rate, great look! Has all the bells and whistles. Purchased for gaming and as a replacement for an older laptop, and it is amazing! It is a bit heavy because of all that it can do, and the battery life while playing bigger games is just ok. Great for plugged-in gameplay!
Great but has started crashing after only a couple

Love this gaming laptop, it is everything I wanted and makes gaming fun, fast, and powerful. The only thing is my laptop has been crashing and I've only had it a couple months, so I will be getting that looked at by Geek Squad since I'm not sure if it because it is overheating or what the heck is going on. Hope I can get this crap figured out so it can stop interrupting my schooling and gaming! Also, I have to keep it plugged in when gaming since I game for hours and the battery on this thing doesn't last all that long.

This is nice, I got it at the lowest price of ~$900 so I take it immediately. The specs are good for the price, I can play smoothly for genshin impact and other AAA games. The only drawbacks are battery and noise, so if you are not affected by these two, you should get it (wait until discount, usually the best price is around ~$1200)

I bought this laptop on sale for $1279, you cant find these specs for less than $1300 currently. The laptop isn’t perfect but, in my experience thus far, its a great laptop. It crushes any game I have thrown at it on high/ultra depending on the title. Like someone else mentioned, the screen does have some sort of weird aspect ratio which I eventually got used to. It is loud when gaming but its trying to keep everything cool in a small space… noise levels are within my expectations; cant really hear it with my headset on. If you can get it at or under $1300, its a good deal. At almost $1600, I would rather spend the extra money for a lenovo.

At the time of writing this review I have had this laptop for a lil over a month and I have been greatly impressed. I upgraded from a dell g7 I had for 7 years and wanted another gaming laptop, but one that had a design that didnt scream “gamer” and had the specs for some heavy gaming on the side for 1200. After searching for a bit, I discovered this laptop that fit everything I was looking for. Wasnt as expensive as the zephyrus g14 and 16 and appeared sleeker than the tuff a16 and legion 5. The specs of 1150 is definitely a steal. So far I had no issues with the laptop regarding performance as cpu and gpu temps have remained below 80C while gaming. Regarding productivity, the laptop has also done good in this area (granted i did wish the cpu wasnt power hungry, but its based off an older amd generation). That said, besides the battery and wifi card placement, I have no issues with the laptop especially for its build quality (being apart of Hp and their known hinge and hallmark problems). Personally id recommend it if ur looking for a laptop at the 1200 mark as other laptops around that range would cut corners either by the cpu, storage or ram and would cost 100-200 more for the same specs.
