I bought this pc for use while in the army. I use it for school, training, personal and gaming. it can handle anything I throw at it. It runs most games I play at max settings. Games include (sniper elite, overwatch, Borderlands, Skyrim, and more) smooth graphics and great battery life.

It is cool looking and fast. Plus it had a ssd and cd reader/burner

I think this is an excellent machine. I've now had it about six weeks, and I've experienced no glitches or hiccups with it whatsoever. I am not a gamer, so I can't really speak to that performance aspect of the machine, but for me, it has very fast performance and handles with ease everything I need it to do. I assumed that the high performance would be a given (and it is), so perhaps the thing I am most pleased with is the non-glare, matte screen. I love the fact that there is no reflection or glare whatsoever in the screen, and I didn't realize how much I would like that particular feature. The only minor change I would make to this laptop is that I would eliminate the dark keyboard with the dark letters and characters. Obviously I can live with it (I've still given this computer five stars), but in an ideal world, I would make the keyboard a little more visual-friendly. The keyboard does have a backlight, which I usually turn on in the evening, but most of the time during the day I leave off the backlight. Other than the sometimes-hard-to-see keyboard characters (which is a minor complaint that can be worked around by turning on the backlight), I really like this machine a lot and would definitely recommend it.

Couldn't be happier with this laptop! The screen is great, the computer starts up fast and runs great! I bought this for my wife to play The Sims 4 on. Our other computers would slow down and chug along, but not this one. It runs everything just perfectly! The back lit keyboard is great and makes typing great.

I purchased this laptop for my son to use at college. He wanted a laptop - not one of those 2 in 1 deals that seem so popular. This one has a nice screen size and a very comfortable keyboard for people with bigger hands. The only downside is that it's pretty heavy so if he winds up needing to carry it to all his classes it could become a burden.

Although a 'gaming' computer, I don't use it for games. Two things that made me buy this and why I love it: 1. The large screen, plenty of real estate to hold pages side by side without having to squint. 2. The solid state drive starts up fast and brings up apps faster.

This computer is made out of carbon fiber. Be very careful with it, it makes way too much noise internally and externally. When opening and closing the laptop, it sounds like it need WD-40, some oil to soften the hinges. It's great for a college student, but a bit pricey.

Everything runs very smoothly. It's a very good computer overall.

the computer comes loaded with most of the programs needed at start up. The computer is set up to load onto the SSD drive which is the smaller GB drive. You will need to change to load onto the 1TB drive. Once I completed the file change the computer is fast.

I needed to replace my last laptop and decide to look into a gaming laptop. I did a fair amount of research to find something that wasn't going to break the bank. I found this laptop. I've come to trust HP products and this one hasn't shown me any reason to change my mind so far. The graphics are really good, everything has run flawlessly with nary a glitch. To be fair, I'm not running any AAA brand FPS, I stick to mmorpg so I'm not really taxing anything on this system. However, it does what I want with no problems so what more is there to say? The sound is good. The fan is a little loud but I don't really notice it when I'm gaming.

I am in love with my new hp super fast load up it is different getting used to the having two drives. I am adjusting well. and love playing my game obdction on it.. super fab.

Super fast boot up. Blazing fast graphics. Extremely stable. The HP status program is a little annoying but it is not a real issue. All in all, a great laptop for gaming.

I was excited to get this laptop home. It is huge. It boots up fast and the screen looks great. I bought it at 1199 and it dropped to 999 the next two days. I called and as long as I was 30 days into my purchase they refunded me the price plus taxes. Thanks Best buy customer service.

Honestly I have no complaint about this tech. You get much more than what you pay for. I was able to play SKYRIM in 4K with but it is not recommended. But in Full HD it's amazing. The sound it great, resolution is great, does get a little hot (bad ventilation design), cosmetic design nice, texture is good. Similar to the HP Zbook workstation architecture. I would recommend the OMEN. It would have been nice to have the 1060 or 1070 but the 1050i will work. Worth every penny.

Computer loads very fast with solid state drive. Had some issues with windows 10, but that is not an HP issue. Computer looks great and performs well

Computer exceeded my needs and graphic card handles all my programs perfectly the ssd is a great new advance and runs system perfectly

I got this laptop but I was not really happy with the brightness. I was way to dim for my licking. I ended up returning it.

It's a good laptop for the price I do computer animation and it's been keeping up with my work.

This product exceeded my expectations . If you have the chance to test out this laptop in store , try it. It does not disappoint.

My husband needed an upgrade in his laptop for computer gaming and this has been perfect from the speed to the graphics.
