Bought this HP Omen on Cyber Monday. PC came with a corrupted operating system. Constant crashes right out of box with same error code. HP support tried working on it and said it needs a new operating system installed. Contacted Best Buy and have had the run around since. First it was going all good, they apologized and sent me a return label and initiated a new shipment for a new PC and then they decided to cancel it the next day. So now they have my money, I have no PC and they are supposedly making a new ticket for another PC to be shipped but will take 10 days to process. Hopefully it processes and a new PC ships out but still means it will be a month before I actually have a PC that I paid for so I definitely would not recommend this PC or Best Buy for the matter of the fact.

Bought this Jan. 30th 2024, on March 6th 2024 the usb ports all stopped working. Best Buys return policy is just 30 days, so I missed that by 2 weeks. They did nothing to help me, 2 different members of their support team told me to take it to BB and they'd exchange it. I went to BB and they did absolutely nothing, not even a sorry you're brand new pc is garbage. I'll never buy anything at BB again.
HP is also ridiculous to deal with. Their support team, I dealt with 3 of them, the 1st actually made the pc worse and wanted to do a repair that wouldn't have worked, the 2nd did the same as the first with out helping either. So i ended up taking it to a pc repair shop and that's when it was diagnosed with motherboard issues leading to usb ports not working. Then I talked to the 3rd HP support person and he had me run all the same tests that didn't work with the 1st two support people and now I have to ship the pc away to be repaired. It'll be 2 weeks before i get the pc back.
If you do buy an HP from BB I'd get the extra coverage for geek squad because BB isn't going to care about your pc.
In the 5 weeks I used the pc it worked fine, but with the awful HP customer support and the lying customer support at BB I'd steer clear of either of these options.

The PC itself is a really solid mid to upper mid tier rig for a solid price. A pretty solid GPU with a bunch of other good parts packed in. Only issue with is easily fixed is a slight heat issue.

The HP Omen 25L, a gaming desktop that has generated a buzz in the market, arrives with the promise of high performance packed into a sleek design. As someone who's always on the lookout for a machine that can handle intense multitasking and gaming, I approached this product with both excitement and a bit of skepticism, given the mixed reviews it has received.
Firstly, the HP Omen 25L boasts an imposing presence with its dimensions (18 x 6.5 x 15.5 inches) and weight (just over 30 pounds). This heft is somewhat mitigated by its practical design, featuring grips for easier handling. The aesthetic appeal is enhanced by its tempered glass side panel and customizable RGB lighting, making it a stylish addition to any setup. However, the size and the lighting setup have their drawbacks; the lights, for instance, don't always adhere to the settings, especially after the PC wakes from sleep mode.
At its core, the Omen 25L is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor, coupled with an AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics card, and 16GB of HyperX DDR4 RAM. This configuration promises smooth performance in most games at 1080p resolution and efficient multitasking capabilities. However, there have been instances of software glitches like the 'blue screen of death' and unexpected reboots, which seem to diminish after updating Windows and drivers. The PC also comes with minimal bloatware, which is a refreshing change from the norm. Yet, it's not without its quirks – the included McAfee virus scanner and some HP utilities can be a bit intrusive.
While the Omen 25L is user-friendly for general use and gaming, its appeal may be limited for those looking to upgrade their machine over time. The case, despite being well-ventilated and offering tool-less access, presents challenges for significant hardware upgrades due to its design. This aspect makes the Omen more suitable for users who prefer a 'use-as-is' approach rather than for those who enjoy customizing their rigs.
Overall, the HP Omen 25L is a formidable desktop computer that caters well to gamers and multitaskers alike, offering solid performance, a striking design, and a user-friendly interface. Despite some initial software hiccups and limitations in upgradability, its strengths in multitasking and gaming at 1080p make it a worthy contender in its price range. It’s an excellent choice for those seeking a reliable, high-performing machine right out of the box, though I recommend keeping an eye on software updates to ensure smooth operation.

I ordered this thinking it was a good deal/value for what I want to use it for but after it came it wouldn’t power on. I ended up reseating the RAM and it eventually powered on but it wouldn’t display on my monitor. HP suggested I update the firmware but I decided to just exchange it because I didn’t want to deal with the issues. I received the new one and guess what… same problem. Now I’m going to return it again. Wouldn’t recommend buying this one.
