I was aphrenrsive at first about buying an HP product, but I really needed a gaming monitor for my Xbox One X and PC. If you aren't interested in HDR or 4k gaming then this is the monitor for you. I find that 2k/1440p/QHD is the sweet spot for optimal gaming - crisp resolution, fast refresh rate, and price. + If you want an HDR monitor then you'd have to fork over quite a bit more than this price range. + 2k is the sweet spot + Build quality is exceptional. (base is all metal and very sturdy) + There's a headphones hanger built into the stand + I saw no dead pixels + Clean face. thin bezel, no buttons on the front. + Freesync and Gsync + DVI cable comes packaged + Back LED mood light + Lower work LED below + Both lights are customizable + bunch of built-in gaming things (crosshairs, fps counter, etc) Only minor gripe I have is that the foot and vesa mount is not square with the monitor. It is rotated, in a diamond fashion. Aesthetically looks cool, but it's a minor annoyance if you use monitor stands or arms.

Good quality. Very sturdy and heavy. Its not cheap junk. Great look and color. Has many settings and even has 2 backlight zones. You can choose pre-set colors or create a custom rgb of your choice. The app is quick and easy to use to change any setting on the monitor. Picture quality is great.

I’ve had this monitor for over a while now and I can safely say it works great. The picture is day and night compare to a standard 1080p monitor and the refresh rate is really noticeable. Haven’t had any problems with it since I got it

I'm thrilled with this monitor. It's my first IPS monitor, and I'm "upgrading" from the 32" Dell curved gaming VA monitor that I bought when I first built my gaming pc last summer. I would say overall that the colors on this monitor are just brilliant, even though you are of course losing the contrast that VA panels can produce. I have had zero issues running games on my RTX 3080, the menu on the monitor itself is easy to navigate. I played around with a couple of RGB settings because I wasn't thrilled with the warmth of the colors out of the box, but Tom's Hardware gave the best recommendations I could find (https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/hp-omen-27i). It's G-Sync compatible so I'm seeing no tearing. The styling is subtle, and the RGB can be fully controlled as far as brightness and color through a mix of the screen's menu and the HP Omen Gaming Hub that installs when you connect the monitor.

Bought this paired with the Bp omen desktop 30L. The desktop broke after three days but I decided to keep the monitor. The monitor is of great quality and I’ve had it for two years now. Has yet to fail me. Gaming quality is amazing.

Best monitor for the price. Haven't had any issues and still rocks games i play that are fast paced like Call of duty games and fortnite etc which require fast refresh rate. Definitely worth the purchase.

Pairs great with my 3070 Ti. The G-Sync is definitely worth the extra cost and with this monitor being on sale at the time it was an absolute steal and exactly what I was after. I’d surely recommend this monitor to anyone who has a decent card.

Its been 2 years or so and so far amazing quality i play warzone at 2k and feel like im in war lol pixel by pixel amazing never got warranty still running like new

Awesome monitor. Clear picture. Games and movies/videos look awesome and bright. If you’re into rgb, this monitor has you covered and if you don’t then you can just turn the rgb off. Would definitely recommend this one

Bought this instead of a TV with the same specs for a much much higher price. Got it to use with my series x console. Perfect Quality for what im using it for. The light can be turned off and on if that bothers you. No mechanical issues so far after a couple months.

Great display! Went from 4k 60htz to this 2560x1440. 165 htz gained more frames smoother gameplay.

Very satisfied with this product. It provides great colors, has a sturdy stand and build, a fantastic resolution, and I love the extra, customizable lights on the back of the monitor as a bonus. I returned my LG Ultragear 27GL850-B and got this HP Omen 27i at Bestbuy instead at the same price because for some strange reason, LG monitors don't support 120fps at 1440p with adaptive sync via HDMI 2.0(which is a must), yet this monitor does support 120fps at 1440p with adaptive sync via HDMI 2.0. The weirdest thing is that this monitor also uses the exact same LG panel found in the Ultragear, and yet the Ultragear can't support 1440p at 120fps with adaptive sync. Strange on LG's part. If you're a Series X owner like myself and looking for a 1440p 120hz capable(or higher) 27-inch gaming monitor with adaptive sync via HDMI 2.0, I highly recommend this one. You won't be disappointed.

I am very happy with this monitor I purchased it for work at home and to game on my Xbox Series X. The colors are amazing I don't really care for 4k 1440P is the sweet spot for resolution and performance. I caught this on sale for $379, which was even better.

The HP Omen has blown me away in ways that I never imagined. The refresh rate, the resolution, and the customization are out of this world. I am extremely satisfied with everything except for the color. I feel like the monitor is very dark at times and has a very pale color pallete. (This may be fixable by playing around with colors and settings). HDR is a feature lacking for this price point. Overall, it's worth it!

Such an amazing monitor. It's currently the main one I use for my PC. Any games played on it looks amazing and I love the ease of use of it. The light in the back is a nice touch too.

Fantastic monitor! Great packaging and design. If kept in a semi-dark room, this monitor has stunning picture quality. Discreet design, as you can turn off the backlighting for a more professional look.

Only thing really can say is there is no HDR but thats only being nit picky... 1440p with 165hz and has no issues at all running colors are great i got this monitor a few years back during a black friday sale was 500$ regular price and the sale was 369$ something like that and this page had only like 10 reviews at 4.7 stars now look 1000+ with 4.8 all i gotta say is HP omen should come out with a 32in 4k 144hz im rdy for a upgrade hahaha pretty sure many would buy if they follow up after this model
