Everything works well but the response time feels lackluster.

Just like many, I took advantage of Black Friday deal and purchased this monitor for $250. I specifically wanted something to pair with my Xbox Series X and I dont regret getting this one! I was torn between a 4K @ 60Hz (was afraid to sacrifice 4k) or this monitor, but I decided to go this route because I was already playing on a 4K TV and the higher Hz felt more of an upgrade to my eyes than the resolution. My games look brilliant, movements are smooth, and colors are crisp!I hope this helps.

Got this monitor for my Xbox series X and the response time is amazing. Refreshrate feels good and graphics are clean. Very good monitor

I built a gaming pc and got this as a monitor to go with it. It's a beautiful crisp picture. I'm able to adjust it depending on what I'm sitting on or how high up I am. It works great!

I got this on sale for $380 and for that price this monitor is a steal and even at full MSRP it is a good deal just make sure you use the HP ENHANCE+ picture mode for the best experience.

First Omen monitor went totally haywire after 1 1/2 wks.Took it back to Best Buy on 9/18 for an easy exchange for another Omen.This second Omen works fine.I use the 1440p for gaming,my wife has to switch it to 1080p for work at home since that's all her comps. at work can run.Both look good.Games run smooth and good,vibrant colors.

Great monitor. I am using it with a MacBook Pro. Clarity is great, colors are great. I would defiantly recommend this monitor

It took returning two of them back to the store, but the third one was definitely the charm. Amazing display of the 1440p resolution, really does blow a 'standard' 1440p monitor out of the water. Color reproduction is fantastic, plenty of settings to fiddle with to taste, and 165 hz is incredible. I noticed in an 'official' review of this monitor that the author was complaining of a film grain like affect. Be aware that yes, this is true, but only noticeable if you are sitting closer than you should be. Like, close enough to see individual pixels. It's a big monitor, make sure you're far enough back, and it'll be hard to find a prettier display at $500.

Solid monitor. Very easy to set up. My son loves it. You may be able to find something similar for less money but HP deserves the extra few bucks for quality. This is being used for light to moderate gaming and so far I have heard no complaints except maybe its lack of speakers... but visually my son is very happy.

This monitor is great. Way better than what I had before. Got it on sale. Great picture. Couldn’t go wrong with this monitor

great quality, be sure to use display port for the full 165hz with hdmi it limits to 144hz. Mine did have 1 dead pixel but its not bad enough to send in for replacement.

Absolutely LOVE this monitor, it is bright for viewing and many options. The lighting effects are great and all fully maintainable in the Omen Software. Having the ability to have the back square highlight helps with port connectivity and it also has a task light on the bottom for desk work is helpful, and I like the articulation of this monitor. They did think of everything too as the monitor post can also be used as a headphone stand! I woudl highly recommend. the only thing that is tough for some is the position of the power button, it would have been more useful if it were located someplace differnt or closer to an edge.

This monitor is just ridiculous . Everything about it is just amazing. I upgraded from 1080 and have to say it I am blown away by the quality of this monitor . Game feel so smooth too.

I am loving this monitor! Everything is crisp and clear in 2k. Blacks are actually black and no dead pixels. Fast refresh rate i really couldn't ask for any better at this price point.

This mmonitor is great for gaming. It has great refresh rate and screen resolution. Its very good all around. Great for console gaming wich is my main use. COD is awsome with this monitor.

Anything past the normal response time makes the screen tear so that is kind of annoying. Other than that it is a decent monitor. Please note the back light for the rear section is a very cool blue and not really white. The stand and build is very high quality in comparison to the LG one that uses the same panel.

As described above no tear with nvidia cards. All other monitors were noticeably tearing until I got this. Price point is a bit steep compared to other options I’ve seen but can’t be beat!

i bought this monitor on sale to complete my work from home setup. its an amazing monitor and if you find it on sale scoop it up. the high refresh rate is amazing. im using it with my macbook pro and my surface laptop and it works perfectly. make sure you connect a device via the display port though as this monitor doesnt have hdmi 2.1 to take advantage of the high resolution and high refresh rate. i bought a usb c to display port cable and it works phenomenal.

Great display, colors look awesome. Build quality premium. Use level 1 or 2 response for gaming, 3 and 4 are useless. Didnt mess with any other settings, pretty good out of the box

It’s a fantastic monitor with excellent build quality that checks all the boxes. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have tilt. So if you’re like me, and have a slightly uneven desk, you will be forced to look at a uneven monitor. Besides that, nothing comes close to this in terms of price to performance. Highly recommend.
