I'm very picky when it comes to monitors. I have the Xbox series X and play a lot of fps games. COD looks and plays amazing on this monitor. I know it is not 4k but 1440p at 120hz this monitor looks great and runs extremely smooth. I also have the Asus VP28UQG which is a 4k monitor and the Omen leaves it in the dust as far as speed and smoothness. I am extremely pleased with this monitor!! It has a LED light in the back of the monitor that has several different controls for controlling the light. It can be turned off if you want. If you are looking for a great monitor do yourself a favor and buy this monitor. You won't regret it.

I bought this for $250 during the 2022 black friday sale. If i had bought this at the $399 full price, i dont think i’d be too happy with it. Im also pretty new to gaming monitors/gaming PC’s in general and this is my first one. Its bright. Like blinding bright. Pull up google and its going to hurt. Set up is easy. There are lots of features, extra usb ports, comes with a display port cable, one to connect to your computer to make the usb ports on the monitor work with your PC. External lighting you can customize. One on the back and one on the bottom. My only complaint about this is for some reason the one on the bottom defaults back to the white color every so often, completely unprompted. Not sure why. It claims to be 165hz but only does 144hz. Ive tried every setting and cannot get it to 165. Someone told me theres no real difference between the two. It does do 1440p very nicely.

I think this is perfect. I use it for my Xbox series s and had no trouble adjusting the settings to the right refresh rate and resolution. One thing you may notice is some glow from the ips but in-game you do not see the glow on the corners, and it can only be seen from a certain angle. So in my opinion it may bother someone else but I’m fine with it since I only see it on loading screens. The ambient lighting on this thing is cool too. No speakers is a downside to some but not for me as I like to have a separate sound system. I see no dead pixels and I don’t expect I will. The packaging was excellent and set up was easy. I cannot name a bad thing about this monitor. Oh yeah, I can, but it’s not worth taking a star off.. there’s only one hdmi port.

I've been waiting a while for HP to release a panel that lives up to the Omen name and they finally did. Great resolution, fantastic IPS panel with deep colors and great brightness, better stand, easy access to ports, great bias lighting and G-Sync compatibility. I've played wide variety of games, did some light photo editing and quite a bit of text editing. I can't really find a negative about this monitor. Even the stand is an improvement over the older Omen display, with better cable management and the weight being a little more forward on the base. The base is big and heav, but that prevents any wobble in the display, so many LCDs with long/thin necks wobble when you are banging on a keyboard during games. My advice, if you want a great G-Sync listed, IPS 1440p panel, get it.

These are an absolutely amazing monitor. Crisp vibrant colors and top notch for gaming. I have two on the same desk and love them. Could not be more happy. As always Best Buy has great deals and customer service.

Bought this and have used it for over 8 months now. This product does not disappoint. I use it mainly for gaming and the pictures quality is excellent. Easy to set up and looks great

Best monitor I’ve ever had hands down. The ips panel makes your screen burst with vibrant colors. The response time is perfect for fps gaming as well. Native 2k gaming for Xbox Series X @120hz via HDMI 2.0 You can also play in 1080p 120hz on Xbox series X with this monitor if you prefer that resolution. Great monitor if you’re thinking about upgrading to a PC down the road too. The reliability and dependability of this monitor has been great as well so far.

Screen is very nice and sleek, no sound from the monitor at all , need headphones. I feel that it displays video games really nice and looks real smooth. If you’re debating on the 1080 vs the 2k please get the 2k if you hate blurriness .. I had to return my 1080 bc it’s too blurry on the 27”, you could get away with 1080 on 24”. I got this paired with the HP OMEN pc 30L and they work wonderfully together. Please don’t cheap out on the monitor you will regret it. Get this !! Only thing I dislike is they didn’t include a sound or hdmi cable. You also might need more space on your table if your tables width is short.(where you face)

Purchased for my Xbox Series X. Works great 120fps @1440, i did not have to disbable freesync or anything. just plugged it up, it automatically went to 1080p@120, quick change in xbox settings set it up nicely. The Monitor is all metal, great quality screen, has ambient lighting on the bottom and on the back with multiple colors. It does not have speakers, but has the 3.5mm jack to add your own. 10/10 definitely recommended.

I absolutely adore these monitors. I bought two of them to maximize productivity and I use them for both school work and gaming. I was slightly disappointed that for this price tag there’s no audio, but I just connected a Bluetooth Sony sound bar and it works perfectly. The resolution is gorgeous, and the customization with the colors through Omen makes these so fun! I’ve had these monitors for 5 months so far, and have had no issues. If you can catch them on sale even better, because they’re definitely worth every penny!

Uses IPS PANEL from LG. Beautiful panel. Works with Xbox series x 1440p at 120hz. Make sure to use auto detect and turn off VRR. I’ve read that vrr works but it crashes every time that I use it. Only downside is no HDR.

From the money I saved getting my HP OMEN - 16.1" Gaming Laptop on sale I bought this to pair with it. I now have a perfect gaming setup for me and I love them both so much. The picture looks amazing and playing games at 1440p on the 27 inch screen is just what I wanted.

Well worth the money!!! Love the rgb lighting on the backside. Picture quality is amazing. 1440p at 165hz.

The first one I got had some bad backlight bleed in the upper right corner, thankfully best buy let me exchange for a replacement without any hassle and the 2nd was much better.

I recently picked up a new gaming monitor and ended up going with the HP Omen and so far I love it! Playing at 165hz with 2k Resolution never felt so good but it’s worth it! Clear quality nice design and happy with the 1ms response time!

This is my second Omen monitor; the RGB in the back fits well with my theme and the performance with this monitor is insane! Great for gaming and productivity. This monitor can get extremely bright, I had to turn the brightness down to 15-20 to make it comfortable on the eyes. Will buy a third one eventually.

I absolutely love this monitor. Picked it up for my ps5 and couldn’t be happier. I was hesitant at first because of the price, but it was worth it in the long run. Works great and I love the lights on the back. If you’re on a budget you might want to look at some other options, but if you have a little extra dough I’d definitely add this to the options.
