I had a Asus 24 144hz monitor. 1080p. It was great for it's time. It was time for an upgrade. I got this monitor and it's such a good monitor. 1440p with 165hz refresh rate. 1ms. I couldn't ask for a better monitor right now. It is a little pricey but it's well worth the money. My vision isn't so good and I have a really bad stigmatism but this monitor someone doesn't really strain my eyes. I can't explain it but I can be on my computer for hours. Surfing the web or gaming and my eyes aren't bloodshot red or straining. Get this monitor if you're thinking of getting one. It's well worth the money. This will probably last me a good 5 years. Unless they make something ridiculous for a similar price.

As the title says, it is a good monitor. Why only good and not great or fantastic? Well come along and lets find out. Good: Good size screen, Thin bezel (making use of screen size), Ambient lights, Back lighting, Custom display settings to fine tune your screen your way, Vivid colors and contrast ratio, and finally.. a stand that tilts and goes up and how (oh how I have missed this). Bad: None standard power plug (uses round plug instead of normal computer/monitor "square" type) None standard back of screen (connection area) All connections are at a angle (shifted 45 degrees) so now cables come out sideways instead of down) Screws on stand are not hardened metal and round out very easily. Area to tighten screws are in small area making it very hard to get more then 1/4 turn each time, making it take a long time to assemble. Heavier than screens of same size, so if you are mounting to desk arm support it might not work so well. Mounting to said arm would require you to rotate support by 45 degrees to attach it. Only accepts HDMI or Display Port connections. Will only get 60Hz refesh if you use it as external display on laptop or secondary display on desktop. Must use as main to get full refresh and even then only if your card is newer than 2018. Ugly: Not overly stable on any surface except completely flat. it is somewhat top heavy, so balance will be affected placed on none flat or unstable surface. no cable management to group cables. Only slot in stand is available and it would create a mess if done wrong. Angle of connections might cause kinks in cables due to being set sideways for so long or breaking of port due to angle and weight. Lastly, not at comment on product so much as delivery during the Covid19 pandemic. Shipping will be slow from factory during this time (took about 45 days to get it), so getting from retailer is best option for getting your monitor quicker. So... all in all, I would get this again for sure. I would add second one to extend my gaming experience on FPS games and other programs where color, brightness, refresh rate and profiles need to be matched.

Okay I have to admit that even though I have built my own computers for some time now I always tend to cut corners when it comes to the monitor. Then I started thinking...why spend all that money on the computer, and then limit my experience with a sub par display? Enter the HP Omen 27i. WOW! This has really taken things to the next level. The display itself is physically gorgeous! Small bezels. Big 27" screen size. Adjustable height. RGB. YES. It's a 2k monitor with a 165mhz refresh rate. This was perfect for me because I already game at 1440p to get the best balance between resolution and performance out of my computer. The picture is crisp. The colors are fantastic. This is easily the best display I have ever used. Although it is a Freesync monitor it seems to play well with my NVIDIA GTX graphics card over displayport. HP software gets the job done. Overall I am EXTREMELY impressed with the display. It is an upgrade that I should have made a LONG time ago.

I've only had it for a few weeks, but so far this monitor is great. Looked great out of the box, the base takes up less room than my previous monitor and looks nicer as well. the illumination from the light on the back is a nice touch. No issues with it yet, and really happy with my purchase. Will update in the future if anything changes,

Just bought this monitor 2 days ago when it was $50 off. Although the price is a bit high, it went well with my new pc build. The options this monitor offers is great and just like other reviewers I dont find the menu analog stick a weird factor. The color is great and switching off from other features makes things even better. Running this monitor on a AMD Ryzen 5800x & RTX 3080 looks fantastic! the G-sync is insane. The LEDs on the back and bottom are a nice little feature even though I turned off the one on the back. The stand is the heaviest item in the box and the way it sits pushes the monitor a little closer to me. I will be buying a new L desk just for it to sit pretty. Coming from a 23inch 1080p HP monitor with 60hz to this is a whole lot different. Games are smoother and clean looking (then again my pc is built for this monstrosity). Overall its a very good monitor but for the price I'm not too sure. There are other monitors that can perform just the same or even better at a lower price. I just was too impatient to wait for one to be shipped or drive far to buy another brand somewhere else so instead I bought this at my local Best Buy.

The colors on this display are crisp and vivid- just absolutely stunning. Deeply saturated and immersive. Action on screen for Ori and the Will of Wisps and Overwatch was smooth as silk- no stuttering or skips. I used it as is, with the default settings, but the menu is easy to navigate and adjust the settings if you're pickier than I am. I used this for watching a few movies and YouTube videos and it performed amazingly well for that purpose with the wide screen viewing angle making sure I didn't miss any action or details.

Great monitor. Had this for almost 3 years and its still working well.

Solid 2k 165hz monitor. I use it on my Xbox series x. It can go up to 120 fps with no problem. The RGB lighting is a nice touch and you can basically customize it to match your setup anyway you want. Would definitely recommend

My first real monitor, and I must say it's been amazing. Aesthetically it looks fantastic, performance is awesome and plenty of settings to tweak to your liking.

This was the first monitor I bought with these specs and it was perfect. The only reason I got a new one was to get a 32 inch.

I myself verify I have this monitor, I forgot to add it to my bestbuy rewards card however. This monitor is awesome. Sure it doesn't have HDR, but you don't need it. 1440p, 165 Hz with display port, excellent colors, g-sync makes the frame rate never skip. It's a great monitor, the best you can buy other than 4K. But the eyes can't really tell the difference between 1440p and 2160p. It's an excellent buy.

ok monitor, backlight bleed and low contrast. fast for gaming and nice colors but for some reason HP put the VESA mount at 45° angle so if you mount it make sure it the mount can tilt
