Bought this as my first pc set up as gaming has grown on me and with a week in gaming on it switching from console it was definitely a great upgrade.

KNOWN HARDWARE PROBLEMS HP WILL NOT FIX

If you are lucky and get one that works, I have heard it is a great system. But if you are unlucky and get one that won't wake from sleep mode, runs the fan and shuts down all the time, then you're screwed. Check other online sources. HP "support" will run you through a bunch of crap for DAYS, send you recovery media, eventually admit it's a known problem, make you send in your brand-new computer for "repairs" for 10 days, then send you back the same, faulty hardware. Not worth the gamble.

This pc is really bad after a few months of using it it starts to get really hot I added 2 fans but it still gets high 70’s this pc if perfect with you want to change the case, cooler for cpu, power supply, and add fans but I don’t think so because you want to buy a prebuilt and if you want to do all that you it will cost you more than 1,5k all total and only 3 fans can be plug inside in the motherboard you will have to buy fan slipters to add more fans I switch my case and everything and the temps are way more cooler like low 50’s may better than high 70’s

Stuck in sleep mode - no help

Computer goes into sleep mode and will not 'wake' with mouth or keyboard touches. Holding power button down does nothing. Only way to relaunch the computer is to unplug it and cycle the power. On line search of many who have had this problem suggest that HP has no solution for this.
