Works with the most hard core demanding games

I was really nervous about buying HP. Aside from having to remove all the HP software (I call it scam-ware), I like it for gaming. It plays my high level PC demanding Star Citizen game without a problem. P.S. I'm not singling out HP for the junk corporate software, they all do it. Before you do anything, uninstall all of it. You'll be happier later.

After having to deal with my old desktop not wanting to respond to some of my RAM-intensive applications, I went ahead and bought this bad boy! Let me tell you, WORTH IT IF YOU'RE A GRAPHIC DESIGNER. it runs everything smoothly and is a cool way to show off your career.

I bought the Omen for my grandson for Christmas. He is extremely happy with it. Some reviews suggested it got very hot and was very noisy. It turns out that neither is true - runs cool and is amazingly quiet. I was also a little worried about early versions of Windows 11, but it has not been a problem.

The speed an usability of this PC is just as good after a couple of months of Windows updates, as the day I brought it home. The case is sturdy, and I expect to get many good years out of it, as the PC is not like other proprietary machines. This one can easily be upgraded.

I bought this for my 16 year old son. He loves it. It is an upgrade from his previous gaming computer (I have no idea what it was). But, he tells me this is a screamer and it doesn't get overly hot. He loves the ability to customize the lights and colors.

    prebuilt trash by HP

Bought this when gpu prices were up for the 3060. The motherboard is trash in this thing, no way to tweak fan curve, runs hot, proprietary parts, omen gaming hub is trash, tiny 500w power supply, and absolutely no room behind the side panel for wires if you decide to add fans or a controller. Do yourself a favor and just build one from scratch for the same price and you will be much happier. Building a PC these days is incredibly easy and youtube/reddit has all info needed to be successful in the task.

I bought this for my son for christmas. He absolutely loves it, it plays beautifully with any game he has tried. Also looks neat with the glowing lights which he can change to whatever color he prefers at the moment. Definitely worth the money to see how happy it has made him.

bought this for my little brother who’s is an avid pc and xbox player. He’s been wanting this for a while and I caved in and bought it for him because I also found out that you can use this for school work so it’s a double win for both of us.

First new computer in 8 years. What a difference!! Easiest time I ever had getting everything to work from Microsoft office to my wireless printer, just found everything. Like the glass side you can see when it needs a cleaning inside.

Low frames, freezes and crashes multiple times, horrible ventilation, bad fans. Maybe just mine was defective. I’d expect a 3060 and 5600g to give me at least 300 frames but I only would get 150-230fps on easy to run games like valorant. Normal temp not even playkng games was 78c. Also i would have to unplug the pc just to get it out of sleep mode

It’s great trust me it will run everything you need to run any games or work . It won’t turn off on you the only thing I recommend is more cooling it’s options though my works perfectly fine with everything it has by itself.

I did a lot of research prior to buying this computer. My goal was to run VR games on an Oculus Quest 2 without breaking the bank. We've had this now for about 4 months with no issues running VR on the Oculus via the link cable. There have been no heat issues, no crashing or freeze ups. I would reccomend getting a seperate key board. Also of note there are no internal speakers.

This machine is plenty powerful for my uses. I've really only spent time playing Halo Infinite and Forza and it has zero issues running those at highest settings. The omen gaming software is okay. There is one glaring issue that I discovered almost immediately. When the machine "goes to sleep" it does not wake up by moving the mouse or hitting a key. I cannot hold the power button to shut it down. The only solution is to unplug the machine and start it back up. I've done a fair amount of research and discovered that this has happened to multiple people and HP support cannot provide any solutions at this time. I also discovered that this does not affect every machine, but it is a common enough occurrence that some folks have exchanged their unit for one that has the exact same issue. According to some folks, HP is aware of the issue and working on a fix but who knows if this is true or what the time to fix it will be. I chose not to return or exchange my PC because I felt like in the current market building one is not feasible for me and I didn't want to start the search for a good prebuilt again. My solution was to disable sleep mode altogether. If the PC sits idle for some time the fans and lights shut down, but usually I just shut it off. It starts up very fast with the SSD. Outside of this issue the PC looks cool and runs pretty well.
