I got this pc when it was on sale for $999.99. You literally cant beat that price even if you scrounge for parts on facebook. I tried using pc part picker for better specs but couldn’t because it went over the 1000 mark. This pc has worked wonders for me and does 1080p gaming at easily over 200 fps (cod bo6 for example) 1440p on less demanding games but 4k is another story. All in all its a great first pc but at the $1500 mark i would get something else or build it yourself. The $999 price tag is what made it great.

I sincerely have 0 complaints about this PC. Ive built my own before and had 1 bad experience with a pre-built from amazon but the omen is awesome I was truly able to just plug and play after windows setup, plenty of ports, could not be happier with it honestly

Low on RAM, but easy to upgrade, mid tier video card for serious gamers, but a solid build that allows you to do a lot for reasonable expense.

I will preface this in saying, this is not on BestBuy. I had a great experience in the store with them and have nothing but good things to say about the employees that helped me. This falls on HP Support (or lack there of). I've had this product for a total of two months and the computer randomly started rebooting itself, after which the USB drives would not work. Put in a ticket with support, they tried to make it work by updating a few things. Cool. What they're supposed to do. After that is when things went south. 2nd person I spoke with insisted I needed to replicate the issue - which is slightly hard to do due to the randomness of the computer rebooting itself when it felt the need to. 3rd person I spoke with tried to tell me that BestBuy had altered the product so therefore my warranty was now void. Did some research on HP Part Surfer to double check that information and needless to say, it was shipped from HP as it was sold at BestBuy, they did not alter it. Great. On to 4. 4th person I spoke with attempted to redo the BIOS and then proceeded to have me restart the PC when it was updated the BIOS because it was stuck in an updating loop. Well now none of the ports work (USB, HDMI, Display) and I am currently sitting with a 1300 dollar paper weight. To top this off the agent dropped the call on me after this happened so I had to wait until today to try again. Asked the 5th agent to put me through to a manager and they said they could have them call me. Well, that was 3 hours ago. So, I may just be taking it elsewhere for fixing if it's even possible at this point. Long story short, I have two Omen PCs. The first one has been great but this one had potential, but due to HP Support I will never buy another product from them. They seem to be dancing around to avoid having to honor their warranty. Would honestly avoid HP products like the plague due to their support alone. The PCs are fine in question but if you have an issue you're left on your own.

Not sure if i should put this here or under the RAM i bought, but just curious if anyone has had issues installing the max ram in vengeance sticks? I put in 64 originally and today i bought another 64 to max out. However it doesn't load when i power back up. The ram is lighting up so it's not installed incorrectly, but i can't get the other 64 to work. Any suggestions?
