I never have written a review for any product before but here it goes. I have dreamed of having a gaming computer like this for years and years, but being retired could not justify the cost. My wife suprised me with this PC as she knew I had wanted one for ever. The PC was packaged carefully with a double box and foam padding. No expanded packing was inside the PC case itself. The inside bottom deck of the PC had a very light coating of dust. There were also 3 distinct dusty like fingerprints/smudges inside the case. The power cord to the graphics card had an entirely extra set of power gpu cables zip tied to it hanging loose up against the clear glass side panel. This was beyond strange. Lastly the small OMEN diamond logo on the front of the case had a black mark on it that looked like dirt. It would not wipe off as it was an imperfection in the plastic itself. I did take off the front cover to verify it was not just dirt on the inside. Lastly the glass pane had no protective coating? This could be just the way they sell it. But the glass itself had a dirty haze that I needed to clean off both inside and out. It appeared like an open box or refurbished item. We obviously returned the PC but after some discussion we both decided not to get an exchange because it really is way to expensive for us. Bless my wife for making my dream come true if even for just a couple of days. The plus side. The PC is beautiful. It booted up fine. The idle temps were much lower than air cooled at idle. I did not get a chance to test any AAA games on it since I was returning it so I cannot comment on that. Oh, and it is BIG. Check the dimensions before you buy or plan on having ample room. It also weighs 50 lbs. It's looks are amazing. The price "appeared" pretty good on sale for this CPU/GPU combo. It only comes with a 1TB SSD which is just ok. Memory has been cheaper lately and if you play AAA games, 1TB will fill up fast. At this price and setup it really should have a 2TB SSD but looking around, most all PC makers are skimping on it. I would recommend this PC to a friend. If I could have afforded it, I would have exchanged/kept it for sure. It sure was something to see!

Beautiful case and very easy to access with a press of a button. Simply upgraded to 32 gigs of RAM and having no trouble playing demanding games like Cyberpunk. I paid $700 less than the Dell equivalent and the RTX 4070 is superior to their 3080 TI. And unlike Dell, HP stands behind their products! Loving the Omen over the Aurora!

If you're buying this for gaming, it's not bad. I just hooked it up to my 4k TV and tested MK1 on it. It doesn't do 4k gaming for that game and struggles with 1440p 60fps. I'm a noob to all this PC stuff, but I'm pretty sure you can tweak it and push it so it runs smoother. One way you can run it smoother is going to the AUTO Configuration feature with MK1 in the graphics settings that allows 1440p WITH Nvidias own enhancing/optimization feature "DLSS" With DLSS I was able to get 1440p 60fps easily on LOW SETTINGS. The low settings was a bummer to me and pushing it any higher does degrade the smoothness of the game.. so when I see the PS5 at $500 and I look at this at 3X the price.. I'm thinking of saving that extra thousand. Although you might not care about 4k gaming this PC could be for you as you can always upgrade your graphics card and do way more than you can with a current gen console. Another thing that bothered me that probably won't worry anyone else was that you can't run multiple GPUs even though there is an extra PCIe Slot. Or at least I couldn't get it to run as I couldn't find anything that would allow this in HPs limited BIOs settings. If they were to fix this and allow more freedom to the PCIe slots I'd definitely consider keeping this.

I bought this for my fiancé, to upgrade his computer system. He says it’s amazing, the speed and graphics are great. He streams for a living, and this computer can handle the game play, plus the streaming factor with out glitches.

First off, this thing is huge. Absolutely massive. Compared to the old HP Omen I owned, this thing looks like a giant. The lighting options on it are pretty cool, and it runs faster than a cheetah on a cool summer morning. Bought it during a Black Friday sale.

Great gaming rig. Runs quiet, lots of fans to keep temps in check, plenty of horsepower for all current titles. First Omen from HP and very happy. Pretty cool interface to customize a ton of features.

Fantastic computer! Amazing price. Very fast, lots of storage space, very easy to set up. My games run great on it. Best video card around. I so enjoy the revolving lights, too.

No issues so far, easy to setup, super powerful, and works like a charm. Ive been playing Cities: Skylines 2 on high settings with absolutely no lag.

My old PC with the 1060 is on its last legs so I finally broke down and got this PC. I love it, it is so much faster than my old one, and graphics on games like Starfield and Baldur's Gate are outstanding. I did invest in another m.2 TB hard drive because 1TB is puny when games are 100-200GB. It has a lot of fans and is much louder than my old PC as a result, but the temps stay low so it's worth it. The Omen gaming hub is pretty cool and will let you change the RGB settings on the PC for colors.

Best PC i have ever had! Runs smooth and its powerful i highly recommend this PC i run all my games max settings and it never once heats up or gets loud been playing Helldivers 2 for hours at max and its quiet and you get max frames and they never stutter or lag! Truly a grest deal and amazing PC get if they got it!

A young lady helped me with my purchase of an OMEN 45L. She answered all my questions and show me how to upgrade the ram. This machine is fast and easy to set up. I gifted the gaming system to my 12-year-old nephew. He loves it! And to my surprise it was the exact one he wanted. Can't go wrong with HP.

The original pc I received came with a defective graphics card, I exchanged it but after that it was a great of haven’t had any problems with it. Other than that it’s a really fast of a bit on the bulky side but that is because of the water cooling system but it does look sick as pcs go

Almost a year with this pre-built it has been a big change in my gaming, i recommended good graphics, good fps in warzone game, it hasn't give me no problem at all, best investment.

Besides the bright colorful lights that I absolutely love and the design this computer is a workhorse! It’s fast like super fast! Has lots of features I can customize it add to it. This computer adds style and quality to my office! Added bonus it’s an HP brand

Pretty nice pre-built machine, especially the temperature management from the innovative case. First one ordered had a bad power supply and had to re-order, so that was inconvenient.

Love this pc. Total upgrade from my previous rig. Stays cool and quiet and runs any game I want.

I usually build my own pc but this pc is prebuilt With great specs and it’s really fast with very good fps in shooter games

Got it during the pre Black Friday sale and it was a great deal. Really cool case, I definitely am going to be upgrading the ram though

I have had 2 HP omen laptops, this is my girst omen desktop tower. So far so good. Love the speed and smooth operation.
