A pretty dang good laptop so far. I've had it for about a month or two now and It's basically my portable desktop. I use it to do some light to medium coding and playing games like Diablo 2 Resurrected. I haven't had any issues with the power it has, just remember to switch on your GPU in the settings if you want to use it. My GPU wasn't being used when I first started it up. The battery life on average for me lasts around 3 to 4 hours but since I hover around an outlet most of the time it doesn't bug me too much. It is a bit heavy so lugging it around in my backpack is a bit of a pain.

Great laptop, best used when plugged into the wall as the battery won't last too long. But it shouldn't have any issues running most modern games on very high settings, sleek enough to work in too.

First gaming laptop, and love it! The battery didn’t last as long as I thought, but that’s ok. The graphics, power, and customization is amazing. Definitely recommend for the casual gamer

I really do enjoy this computer overall. My qualms are with the HP Omen Gaming Hub. It isn’t very user friendly when it comes to customizing anything. I have had to search for videos to guide me through specifics. I avoid using the hub whenever possible. Upon setting up the laptop, I had to spend a lot of time downloading drivers and updates in order to play any games. While software was a bit buggy at first, it does perform very well. It is fast to boot up even my larger MMO’s. The fans do run a bit loud when I’m pushing the system. The build quality is great and feels like it will last a while.

This computer is no doubt amazing. Quick to load things, very effienect in downloading game but it does drain the battery a lot quick then just normal browsering. But still worth it!

I've been using this laptop for 3 years now and it's been wonderful. Most games run great and video editing has also been possible. The screen is nice enough and the keyboard is more than serviceable.

This laptop has been great! I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s never given me any issues! I play games like Ark, Apex, Sims and it tolerates it well! I did add a fan to the bottom just to help it keep cooler while playing for extended amounts of time!

My first dedicated gaming laptop. Main reason I went with this was because it was on sale for $799, half price. Apparently the graphics and processor are said to have some minor issues between the graphics hardware/software and certain game optimization softwares but I’ve not experienced this at all from playing HLL, TLIML, GTA V, and warthunder. This is perfect for my needs in gaming and school like MATLAB. Fans are quite loud but do the job nonetheless.

I've been scanning the marketplace for a good deal on a gaming laptop or deck and this machine went on sale during the mid-July sales. For $750, I was sure this would be a good bet and it's proven true. Games like Outer Worlds, Atomic Heart, and many others are all running at 1080P on ultra settings with frames consistently above 60 FPS. 90+ is frequently achieved and even less complex games that throw a ton of information into the game perform with zero slow down or lag.

Good laptop. Does most things that I need it to do fast, and I love the quality. Runs games very good as well, it’s night and day compared to if you were playing something on your ps5 or xbox series x.

I would of given this 5 stars, however, there was an HP driver issue affecting my Laptop for some months until it was fixed. My laptop would reportedly to black when tryint to wake it up from sleep mode. I had to close it and open it up multiple times until the screen would stay on. Other than that great performance on running disblo 4 at max settings .

I remember AMD before the current CEO, my GOD she is a blessing to gamers. AMD now competes easily with the best. I got this sucker for $699 on sale plus BB subscription. Like you CAN’T pass it up on a sale like that. For what it is its crazy good at that price. Now…its current price of $1,500+ is a hard pass and you could gind better for sure, this honestly is more a lower-mid tier system but still flies due to 1080p screen. Id look at MSI or ASUS at $1,500+ but Omen so far is impressive for an HP. I immediately added in a second 1TB NVMe and boosted RAM to 32GB as i also plan to use editing software lightly so i wanted to be ready. I would even have been a buyer at $1,100 so $699??? God yes. I fired up my two FPS games (Doom Eternal and Destiny 2) both screamed on high settings, but 1080 for sure helps. LOVE all the vents and port that are smartly places, andthe bottom has loads of good airflow, i know this baby will breath easy for a laptop.
