HP hardware has had its ups when it comes to their engineering choices. But this laptop does so much right. First of all, airflow, a key issue eith laptop that affects longevity and performance is done expertly. Next, resolution and refresh rate. For screens this small, 144Ghz and 1080p is the sweet spot for me. You'll get great FPS in alot of games. Thr only thing missing from yhis hardware wise is full HDR support.

Worked perfectly, keyboard has a really nice feel to it and it runs games and other resource intensive programs very easily.

Fantastic gaming rig. Handles all necessary day to day functions. But really comes to life and shines when let loose on games.

I bought this laptop during the Early Black Friday sale that coincided with Prime Day. I couldn’t upgrade my really old desktop anymore and it would shutdown while I was using it. I was ready to buy a HP Envy for just under $700 but saw this one on sale for $699 for Total Tech Members. The regular price was $1584. I didn’t need a gaming computer but was way better than any laptop in that price range. Great bargain and the best computer I ever had. Big hard drive and lots of storage.

I love this computer, it’s decently powerful, has good resolution, and no complaints on Frame rate, RGB keyboard is a bonus. It has its down fall with less than optimal battery performance but it does not matter to me personally. I love the color display, and easy hook up to monitors, printers, and even blue tooth phone for messages is nothing less than great!

HP omen is a very nice labtop. Its got great specs and interchangeable storage and ram if you want a slight upgrade.

Would recommend. Since having it I have been able to do whatever I wanted faster than I hoped to be able to do it.

It's no doubt a powerful computer for mid-level gaming, but having purchased this computer in September 2022 and starting to use it in May 2023, I've ran into issues a few months into using it all the way up to December 2023. For one, the graphics drivers will bug out, just letting me sit at a black screen until I restart the computer. I've found that resetting the graphics drivers using WIN + CTRL + SHIFT + B will resolve this issue. I believe this is an issue when swapping between the GPU and APU between games and the desktop. Another issue that I've run into is the audio drivers bugging out. This became a problem after I ran Wallpaper Engine for the first time, where my audio is bugged to stay at 100%. The fix I found online for this would be uninstalling the most recent Windows updates and eventually re-installing them. I do not know why these issues are so persistent, and they're quite annoying when trying to use this PC as an every-day streaming and gaming laptop. May think about factory resetting to system defaults and trying again from scratch. If you're just looking to use this laptop for on-the-go gaming, it'll do the job just fine.
